Jenn and I are proud to announce the latest addition to our soccer family.
Our new baby boy, Keegan, was born today, weighing in at 8lbs4oz and 21 inches long.
So, who did we name him after? His brother, Gunnar, was also named after someone famous...any
guesses?
So there you have it, a Gunnar and a Keegan.
OK, so I managed to pull it off this weekend and watch all the soccer that I wanted. I am
blessed with the fact that my wife Jenn, is almost as soccer crazy as I am.
We hung out together and watched soccer on tv, she was led on the couch (9 months pregnant)
while our 2 year old son ran around the living room.

OK, so I thought that soccer was over with for a few weeks.....how wrong could I have been.
I am now suddenly interested in the Gold Cup, the Euro 2011 Under 21s tournament in Denmark and
Major League Soccer....throw in there as well classic matches being shown on Fox Soccer....I am
beside myself trying to decide what to watch this weekend!
I am delighted to announce that I had the honor of interviewing coaches Dean Wurzberger and
Carlos Juarez over the weekend. Both coaches were kind enough to let me have some of their valuable
time as they were staffing the USSF National B license at the Home Depot Center in Carson,
California.
Husky coach Dean Wurzberger resigned on Dec.
Just wanted to give you all an update on future developments here the the
soccercoachingblog.com.
I am absolutely thrilled by the response to the three Soccer Coaches' Shows we have posted so
far. It is very humbling to see that people are visiting this blog and answering questions and
asking for help and advice.
The English Premier League Game between Blackburn Rovers and West Bromwich Albion featured 22
players from 22 countries at the conclusion of the game, the first time in Premier League
history.

OK, so again life happens and we did not get to film the show last Monday night as planned. My
son has bacterial pneumonia and my cohost was sick as well.
I have been working through www.elance.com to try and find someone to update the format of this
blog to make it easier for you to watch the videos and share them with your friends via facebook,
twitter etc.
OK, so married with a pregnant wife and a 21 month old who has a fever reduces my soccer
watching time considerably. However I did get up early and watch the Spurs vs Man Utd game and
thoroughly enjoyed it.
Another example of how a game can be entertaining yet not produce any goals, I think the
American public is coming to terms with that more and more.
OK, so lose the honey do list and find time tomorrow to park your butt on the couch, blinker out
all other distractions and settle down for the following belters...Man Utd vs Spurs and the
Merseyside Derby, Liverpool vs Everton.
Should be two cracking games. Man Utd vs Spurs pits two teams who are doing well, while
Liverpool vs Everton is a battle of the also rans.
As the January Transfer Window approaches for the English Premier League, there is speculation
that David Beckham may be returning to the league for a loan before he restarts playing for the Los
Angeles Galaxy in the MLS.
So, should he take up an offer and play again in the EPL?
Well he has been on record as saying that the only club he would play for is his beloved
Manchester United, however they have not indicated any interest on his return.
