David Beckham is returning to Los Angeles.
Sources confirmed to Soccer By Ives on Wednesday that the English star would be returning to the
Los Angeles Galaxy for the upcoming 2012 season.
A press conference is expected to take place on Thursday in Los Angeles to announce Beckham's
re-signing.
Sebastien Le Toux's flight to England appears to be training ahead of a possible transfer,
according to Fox Soccer. Bolton is the destination if the Philadelphia Union's star striker is
transferred during the January international transfer window.
The transfer was originally reported by Ives Galarcep, who writes for Fox Soccer and his own
site, Soccer By Ives.
Soccer By Ives is reporting that the Philadelphia Union are "preparing" to sell Sebastien Le
Toux to a European club. The American soccer news site indicated that a full story will be released
soon on Fox's soccer site.
Le Toux has been the star of the Union since debuting with the then brand new franchise during
the the 2010 MLS season, accumulating 25 goals and 20 assists (70 points) over two seasons with the
Union.
Is Conde Worth the Price?Late yesterday evening, Big Apple Soccer's Michael Lewis broke the
news that the Red Bulls had purchased the MLS rights of Wilman Conde from Chicago Fire. Lewis'
story, citing an anonymous source, indicated that the Red Bulls would be sending a draft pick
Chicago's way in return.

In a conference call on Wednesday, Union assistant coach John Hackworth confirmed that Michael
Farfan is in northern England training with English Premier League club Sunderland. "But with
Michael, he's there because he wanted to make himself fully prepared and ready, he wanted to go
experience it and make sure he's ready for preseason," Hackworth said.
Among the Philadelphia Union's many offseason moves was the acquisition of withdrawn forward,
and occasional winger, Josue Martinez. The Costa Rican international striker was expected to help
push Danny Mwanga and Jack McInerney for a starting role alongside Sebastien Le Toux. However,
according to Soccer By Ives, the Union's addition of Martinez may have made Mwanga surplus to the
team's requirements in 2012.
SBI: Michael Farfan To Train With Sunderland
Soccer By Ives is reporting over Twitter that Philadelphia Union midfielder Michael Farfan will
train with English Premier League side Sunderland.
Dom Kinnear - Combine Spotlight from Soccer By Ives on Vimeo.
A quick hit from Soccer By Ives. It's nice to hear Dom's voice discussing the MLS Combine,
especially the part on the end where he talks about draft day trade possibilities. We all remember
what happened last year, which makes so many MLS mock drafts have less predictive value than a
Magic 8 Ball.
Another top striker considering skipping MLS for the prizes in Europe? It sure seems that way.
According to Soccer By Ives, Akron sophomore Darren Mattocks is considering to pass on the proposed
Generation adidas deal that the league is offering him to go to Europe.
The Jamaican-born striker is said to be fielding offers from clubs in Sweden, Norway and
Denmark.
Per Ives: Chicago Fire have purchased the rights to forward Orr Barouch
Full tweet from Soccer by Ives:
"The Chicago Fire have purchased the rights to forward Orr Barouch, who was w/the Fire on loan in
2011 from Mexican side Tigres. #SmartMove"
Great to see this get done. The Fire are working on the complete details.

According to Soccer By Ives, Juan Pablo Angel is staying in the city of Los Angeles. The
Colombian striker was traded "late last night" from the Los Angeles Galaxy to crosstown rivals
Chivas USA.
Ives believes that Angel most likely was thinking of his family when deciding to accept a move
to Chivas.
The following is everything you need to know about the discussion of Juan Pablo Angel to the
Philadelphia Union:
- Angel is the Los Angeles Galaxy's third designated player, which is the maximum number of
designated player spots that a team can have. The 35-year-old is making $1 million in base salary
and $1.
Sky Sports is reporting that the Los Angeles Galaxy have had their bid for Irish striker Robbie
Keane accepted by Tottenham Hotspurs. Coinciding with the report is the news that current Los
Angeles Galaxy designated player striker Juan Plabo Angel was not at practice today.
Keane is slated to make between $4 and 4.

The new 2011/2012 English Premier League season is set to kick off this morning at 10am, but
there's still time to take part in SBI's new Fantasy EPL League.
Apologies for the late set-up, but we were able to complete the construction of the league,

A league source has told the Brotherly Game that Freddy Adu negotiated a salary of around
$425,000 with MLS.
The 22-year-old has had plenty of speculation regarding his contract status, with multiple
reporters citing sources saying that Adu either is or isn't a designated player.
Soccer By Ives and Fox Soccer's Ives Galarcep originally reported that one of his sources
indicated Adu would be the Union's first ever designated player, but then Galarcep later tweeted
that another source had a differing opinion on the matter.
The Philadelphia Union published a press release, this morning, confirming the signing of Freddy
Adu.
Adu was originally reported as the Union's newest signing by Soccer By Ives and Fox Soccer.
There still hasn't been any official word on whether or not the former child prodigy will be the
Union's first ever designated player, but the team did note in its press release that Adu is a free
transfer from his former team, Portuguese powerhouse Benfica.
Soccer By Ives reported on Thursday afternoon that Freddy Adu will be joining the Philadelphia
Union.
"Adu will be introduced as the Philadelphia Union's newest signing on Friday," the SBI report
said, "marking his return to MLS after four years in Europe, multiple sources confirmed to Fox
Soccer on Thursday.
As reported originally on Soccer by Ives a couple of weeks ago, the Chicago Fire have signed 17
year-old striker Kellen Gulley as a Home Grown Player. Gulley comes from the Chicago Fire Juniors -
Mississippi and becomes the first player from the three Juniors programs based outside of
Chicagoland to sign with the club's first team.
