Looks like it kinda work
Well, it looks like there is still some sort of fairy dust left in this world. After completing
his treatment in Serbia using the latest craze, placenta treatment, Robin was all smiles after
exiting the clinic. Dr. Kovacevic will have her hands full now that there is a whole host of other
players who would have made her clinic a very pack one.

Why does everyone in Utah have a big smile this morning? I will tell you why,
because (imagine the Urkel happy dance) Real Salt Lake put the hurtin' on the Colorado Rapids with
a 3-0 win and the stars aligned when the Red Bulls decided to see just how slackidaisical
they could make Toronto FC look.

It's quiet here in hotel Sheraton, too quiet even. Players lurking around greeting each other
with almost sentimental smiles, casually mingling on about their October highlights, when a
familiar voice steals their wavering attention. Bilic, revealed now as the face behind the voice,
glances across the room before ushering the inviting words : "It's time".

It's funny how the Arsenal online community seems sort of divided after yesterday's game.
Granted, a 4-0 win is always a comfortable win, but many, including myself are not entirely
satisfied. And it makes sense. I mean, when you have Van Persie missing so many chances, Fabregas
not really delivering the way he should and Diaby yet again showing how poor he can be, you can't
be all smiles.

In a week where you've become the most vilified person in football and on a day where you've
been handed two FA charges likely to result in a three match ban, you'd probably feel like moping
around training with a glum look on your face and The Smiths on your iPod, but not Emmanuel
Adebayor he was all sunshine and smiles during training today.

Tuesday's opening game between these familiar foes once again left both coaches counseling
patience. Nothing is ever as it seems when these two teams meet, and while Greenwood's players
walked off with smiles and congratulations following their win, last years results were still fresh
in the minds of the coaches.

The smiles returned to the faces of the Manchester United players yesterday as the champions ran
out five-nil winners over Wigan, it was a victory that was much needed following the midweek
embarrassment at Turf Moor. After failing to capitalise on several good goal-scoring opportunities

As I write I am listening to Jon Stewart's interview with Betsy McCaughey the promulgator of the
death panel drivel (although I believe Sarah Palin may actually deserve credit for the term). A
dangerous combination there. But watch the interview ... watch the caginess, the pandering to the
audience, the lack of substance.

As I was following this afternoon's game, over and over again I kept thinking to myself that
there was something missing at the back and in midfield and that we can't always expect Arshavin to
bail us out.
Thomas Vermaelen was missing at the back of course but after the departure of Kolo Toure, we
simply cannot afford to face a long season with the players we have there.

Well, if there's anything to be said about our transfer business this summer it's been
efficient. Certainly when it comes to selling a player to Man City.
No sooner has their been confirmation of interest from the nouveau riche Mancarabs then the deal
is practically done. So it was yesterday when Kolo Toure flew back from the Arsenal training camp,
underwent a medical, signed a four year deal worth £100,000+ a week and the next moment it's all
official - on both clubs websites (City this time actually waited for the deal to be done between
the clubs before announcing it).

visited his team pre-seasontraining at Marlow (London) earlier today. If we are to take theimages &

finally got rid ofSamuel Eto´o, & pleased to have secured Zlatan Ibrahimovic in hisplace.

The ink has only just dried on the contract, but already the fall-out from the deal that will save
quite a few of the SPL clubs is starting to accumulate.
At a meeting held at Hampden yesterday afternoon, the 12 clubs that make up the SPL voted to accept
a combined ESPN/Sky TV deal worth £65m which will see the broadcasters show 60 games between now
and the end of the 2011/12 season.

Kasey Keller was all smiles Saturday night at Qwest Field. The former U.S.

returning from a red card suspension dating to the Seattle Sounders' first loss of the season on
April 11. Keller made one key save shortly after his team grabbed the lead against the visiting San
Jose Earthquakes and it was smooth sailing from there.

Finally got round to watching the Man Utd v Everton semi final again last night, was nervous
watching even knowing the result. Interesting how your impressions are different after the fact. I
thought we were a lot more comfortable in the first half whilst Fellaini was actually a lot more
imposing than I'd originally thought.
