Don't miss curfew!

A couple Polish guys did and got kicked off the national team.

I don't know much about Poland national team, but I'm guessing with World Cup qualifiers on the schedule, it needs all the players it can get.

But sometimes guys just have to party. As these three did. With some journos at a hotel. Click to continue reading...

Leo Beenhakker presented today a list of players that will compete for Poland in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and San Marino. Drink Team. Boruc, Dudka And Majewski Banned For Drinking.

1

Not the sort of emotions I expected from the friendly against Ukraine. Artur Boruc, Dariusz Dudka and Radoslaw Majewski are banned from the team as a result of late night drinking after the game. They won't play in our World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and San Marino.

The respective U21 sides of Finland and Sweden had nothing between them as their friendly match in Turku drew to a close, and the result - one goal for each - reflected the proceedings quite well. The hosts started the game well, with Tomi Petrescu, Perparim Hetemaj, Berat Sadik and Tim Sparv all causing trouble to [. Click to continue reading...

Schober As A Judge

1
The Foxes are training in some secret location in Slovenia apparently.

There will be a friendly match but all held behind closed doors.

2008 Euro Qualifying Saturday Preview: Group G

3
Finally, we have group G and arguably the biggest match of the day as the Dutch travel to Romania. Both countries sit atop their group table with 20 points, though the Romanians have the tie-breaker due to overall goal difference. The Netherlands will be missing their number one, Edwin Van der Sar, and striker Dirk Kuyt, while Romania is seemingly fully fit. Click to continue reading...

2008 Euro qualifying Group G match previews: Netherlands vs Bulgaria, Belarus vs Romania, & Luxembourg vs. Slovenia

5
Netherlands vs. Bulgaria, 1430 EST
Amsterdam Arena - Amsterdam

A win here for the Dutch puts them in a decent position to advance. Playing at home and having one of the best squads in the world, you've got to think they'll pull it off, but with the Oranje, you never know. They were unimpressive in their recent loss to Switzerland, but it was only a meaningless friendly. Click to continue reading...
