Croatia, or formerly known as Yugoslavia, have been quite a force in the history of the World Cup
and the European Cup respectively. Although they have never quite made it to a final, they still
remain to be a team of which other national sides fear. In the qualification group stages Croatia
– nicknamed The Blazers – finished 2nd in Group F narrowly missing out on 1st position by a
mere 2 points.
Turkey is not top seeded team in the playoffs !

a top seeded team in the play-offs!

UEFA have announced the seeds for the Euro 2012 playoffs, after the final round of qualifying
matches were completed on Tuesday.
Rio Ferdinand has today claimed that he has no intention of losing his starting place in the
team to new signings Chris Smalling and Phil Jones.
"I remember what I was like when I was young," said Ferdinand. "I remember looking
up at Slaven Bilic, Marc Rieper, Alvin Martin and Steve Potts at West Ham.

call from the Slaven Bilic to ask me to come and play." He's had a fairly quiet season, as it was
hard to get an appearance in edgewise between Johan finding his scoring boots in the first half of
the season and Sturridge lighting up the second half.
