Just a quick note on yesterday's post on the void of Perth Glory news. Apparently, Monday was a
rest and recovery day for the players - which is understandable, considering they have been on a
two-week road trip of Queensland.
So yesterday there was a bit of news coming out the Glory camp, but the first official media
gathering for this week, will be a presser just before training today.

Muhsin Ertugral has quit Ajax Cape Town. Urban Warriors CEO George Comitis said that the
Turkish-born coach is leaving for Sivasspor, which finished second behind Besiktas in the Turkish
League last year.
In the interim, Jan Pruijn will oversee the team over the next couple of weeks until they
announce a new Head Coach.

In its fifth match in European Cups, Sivasspor has suffered a disappointing defeat against
Anderlecht. With 5 new players in the squad, and the injuries of Mehmet Yildiz and Sezer Badur,
Sivasspor has shown signs of extreme lack of discipline and organization. Especially the Australian

draw for the qualifying round of the Champions League.

tens of thousands riotously celebrated the Kara Kartallar's (Black Eagles) first Turkish league

What a Saturday it was!...
There were eight matches and they all started at same time....
First bad news came from Sivas..
Istanbul Buyuksehir scored two goals in seventeen minutes and Sivasspor fans were stunned! And
Sivasspor lost the match 2-1 at the end of the ninety minutes.

Trabzonspor kept up the pressure with a convincing 4-1 victory over Kayserispor.
Trabzonspor were two goals up inside the first seven minutes thanks to strikes from Umut Bulut and
Gokhan Unal.
Franco Cangele pulled a goal back from the penalty spot for Kayserispor on the stroke of half-time

What I saw on Saturday , is a "total team" on the pitch.

ISTANBUL, April 24 (Reuters) - Five weeks separate surprise Turkish league leaders Sivasspor from
wresting the title from an Istanbul club for the first time in 25 years, a feat the team says would
boost the league's status and delight most of Turkey.
