Youri Djorkaeff will undoubtedly be chiefly remembered as, a) one of the most gifted players in one of the most gilded generations of French football history, and, b) a bona fide Bolton Wanderers club legend.

However, you may not be aware that the midfielder was also, c) responsible for one of the most sensual and erotically-charged pop hits of the early 21st century.

As Real Madrid fans are painfullyaware, Carlo Ancelottiloves to round off a successful campaignwith a celebratory sing-song.

Diego Buonanotte has officially signed for AEK, after being greeted by about one or two hundred AEK supporters at the airport. He arrived in Athens at about 8:45 PM Athens time and signed his contract (two years until 2017) this morning.

To see video of the reception as seen from inside the car Diego was driving in, see the bottom of this link.

Reports from Greece are stating that Diego Buonanotte has ended his contract with Granada and should be on his way to Athens some time today. I'm not sure how true all this is, and when exactly he's expected in Greece, but I'm hoping the singing goes through without any hiccups. Having a player like Diego on the club will really add an element to our team that I feel has been missing since Scocco left.

Adam Sandler was in London to promote his new film Funny People last weekend and that's where an off-handed question from a friend changed his life forever...

'My friend opened the newspaper and saw an ad for the game,' explained Sandler. 'He said "do you want to go to a soccer game", I said "yeah that's a great idea, I've never been to one".

Malouda can’t sing, either

A few days ago we brought you the musical stylings of Grafite and here we have the equally cringe-inducing a capella efforts of Florent Malouda.

On stage with raggae singer Fantan Mojah at his show in French Guiana a few days ago, Malouda is coaxed into singing a few lines of Mojah's "How Can I Be Ungrateful?

Grafite can’t sing

Bundesliga leading scorer Grafite is back home in Brazil for the offseason and to celebrate his personal achievements and Wolfsburg's league title, he has apparently decided to share his musical stylings with the few people willing to subject themselves to something so horrible.

In the video above, Grafite appears out of nowhere at about the 3:12 mark, without a shirt on which seems oddly appropriate.

The football world is going increasingly mad. When you go to a game these days you can't stand up, you can't drink, you can't smoke, and now apparently at Middlesbrough, you can't actually make any noise. At Saturday's bore draw with Wigan, supporters of the free-falling team were handed out letters telling them to only cheer when the team scores.

Ok, the song was too ambitious. And, especially without a high profile campaign, Australian fan singing culture will take some time. Thankyou to those here on on facebook that came up with other excellent suggestions for songs Australians could sing.

But I remain unapologetic for my advocacy.

O dear. There is a saying, 'know your limitations', and when it comes to singing Florent Malouda certainly knows his!

On holiday in French Guyana, he finds himself on stage with reggae singer Fantan Mojah at his show, a couple of days ago, and Malouda is coaxed into singing a few lines of Mojah's "How Can I Be Ungrateful?
