Serie A Weekly welcomes writer Luca Cetta to our pages Udinese and Juventus played out a 0-0 draw
at the Stadio Friuli in Wednesday evening's early Serie A kick-off. The winner would go first, but
in a match of few clear cut chances, Juve remains unbeaten while Udinese's home winning streak has
come to an end.
Another week and another win, as Juventus roll through Novara to keep their unbeaten streak intact.
It was always going to be a tall task for Novara as they entered the Juventus stadium and the home
team was unfortunate to not score more. Although the visitors did have a few chances, this match
was all Juve.
Another exciting match is upon on us Monday when two of the historically best teams in Italy
collide in the country's capital, as Juventus travel to face Roma. This will be the Old Lady's
fifth game in a little over two weeks. Juventus are coming in with blistering form as they continue
to get positive results.

Following the big win on Saturday at Lazio, there has been a lot of talk about game winner Simone
Pepe. A year ago there was a giant question mark in the minds of Juventini about the arrival of the
Italian international on loan from Udinese. His career prior to Juventus had been one of
uncertainty, as the winger had bounced around for most of his youth until finally stringing a few
years together.

Joint leaders atop Italian Serie A going into this weekend, managers Eddy Reja and Antonio Conte
both knew this was going to be a huge test of their scudetto potential. Juve's Andrea Pirlo passed
a last-minute fitness test to start, and the Olimpico audience welcomed back ex-Roma star Mirko
Vucinic just like old derby days.
Serie A finally got underway last weekend and the main story to come out of it was a team of the
week Juventus with an opening day 4-1 win over Parma in the beautiful new Juventus stadium. Sunday
afternoon saw match day 3 underway (unofficially day 2) with Juventus traveling to newly promoted
Siena. An attack-minded Juventus was a joy to watch with their attacking 4-4-2 formation (4-2-4).
In what has become a habit for Juventus, the Bianconeri dropped two points and settled for a
draw with Catania. Juve could not defend a 2-0 lead over the visitors who have yet to register
their first away win of the season. The Bianconeri squad is lacking in quality and this is evident
when the legendary but aging Alessandro Del Piero is the main source of creativity for the
team.
"For me, winning isn't something that happens suddenly on the field when the whistle blows and the
crowds roar. Winning is something that builds physically and mentally every day that you train and
every night that you dream" Emmitt Smith They left the field to rapturous applause having paid
respect to their fans under the curva Scirea.
