It's ok... I've got it...Liverpool make the short trip up the M62
on Saturday to face their North West rivals Manchester United. After knocking United out of the FA
Cup last month Liverpool will certainly feel like they have a great chance on Saturday despite the
match being played on United's home turf.

It has been one hell of a busy fortnight in the world of Tottenham Hotspur – and not a whisper of
any of it from The Boys From White Hart Lane. For shame.
So, in a desperate attempt to catch up - and stay relevant – TBFWHL is taking a look back at 14
days in which Spurs stumbled into the fifth round of the FA Cup, re-entered the title race after a
brief remission and brought in a couple of battle-hardened veterans at the expense of a cult hero.
Dalglish would relish a win on Saturday...The FA Cup has brought
Liverpool a massive clash on Saturday as Manchester United make the short trip to Anfield. This is
the first meeting between the two sides since the Suarez and Evra case, here's hoping both sets of
fans act responsibly, focus on the football and provide a fantastic atmosphere.
With Howard Webb's inconsistencies, Jamie Carragher's likely contract extension, and finally
some news about the next stages of the NextGen Series, there's plenty to talk about that probably
doesn't need to devolve into wild screeching about why three at the back against Stoke means Kenny
Dalglish should be fired.

Oldham have recently updated their badge, what do you think? Wise
decision? Hahaha... Owl? Wise?... Ohh nevermind!...Ahh, the magic of the FA Cup. 6 years now
since the last time we got our hands on it, feels longer doesn't it? Well Liverpool have Oldham
standing in their way at the moment and if they have any aspirations of reaching the final, they
will need to deal with Paul Dickov's side first.

The Carling Cup semi-final legs between Liverpool and Manchester City look set to be mouth-watering
contests but who will be walking out onto the Wembley turf on February 26?
City have certainly been impressive to watch this season, as they have managed to cut out many of
the mistakes against lesser side that made them slip up in the Premier League title race last term.
For the second part of our Non-League Videos Of The Week, we have two matches from the Blue
Square Bet Premier Division. At the top of the table, Wrexham are continuing to hold Fleetwood Town
at bay and, while Fleetwood had a Lancashire derby match at home against third placed Southport on
Boxing Day, Wrexham, who are now owned by their supporters, made the relatively short trip to
Shropshire to play another supporter-owned team, AFC Telford United, and over four thousand people
turned out at New Bucks Head for the match.
Zak Whitbread and Norwich City meet Brad Friedel and Tottenham, while Clint Dempsey and Fulham make
the short trip to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea in a busy post-Christmas round of games.
Will Carroll get a start?...
Liverpool make the short trip to the DW Stadium on Wednesday to face a
rejuvenated Wigan side. Martinez's team are still hovering around the bottom of the table but some
inspired performances of late have given them some much needed confidence.

Conor Doyle in Friday's ScrimmageForward Conor Doyle made the short trip to Germany from England, where he's currently playing with
Derby County. The season has been going well for the Rams so far and they sit near the playoff
spots, though there's still a long way to go in the season.

The midfielder seems like he has been around awhile - he was in Residency in 2008 - but he's still
only 17 figures to be a part of Tab Ramos' player pool during the U-20 cycle.

this weekend as Spurs make the short trip to Fulham.
William Gallas and Steven Pienaar both seem to have come through last night's game in Kazan
unscathed but may have to settle for a slot on the bench.
Manchester United will be hunting their first win at Anfield in four years when they make the trip
to bitter rivals Liverpool in Saturday's blockbuster clash.
As one of the most eagerly-anticipated fixtures of the season, the Saturday showdown promises to
get Premier League action back under way in style after the international break.
Stewart Downing says Liverpool have proved they have the character to succeed after responding to
successive defeats with back-to-back wins.
The 2-0 win in a controversial Merseyside derby followed on from three points at home to Wolves
last week and erased the memories of reverses at Stoke and, in particular, Tottenham.
Everton vs Liverpool – Match preview
AnfieldIndex Liverpool FC Stats | Liverpool FC Blog | Liverpool FC Forum One of the biggest
games of any Liverpool season is just around the corner. For those that don't know (hardly anyone,
probably no one) but we are making the short trip across Stanley Park to Everton's Goodison
Park.
It's North London Derby time! This Sunday, Arsenal take the short trip across the neighborhood to
the home of bitter rivals, Tottenham Hotspur. This derby always ends up being one of the most
entertaining ties ...
Jose Enrique has no doubt Andy Carroll will reproduce the form that made Liverpool buy him for a
record-breaking transfer fee.
The 22-year-old joined the Merseyside club for £35million in January from Newcastle, but a
combination of injuries and a loss of form have contributed to his indifferent start at Anfield.
Carling Cup football returns to Broadhall Way tomorrow night for the first time in just under a

live on Sky Sports. Boro lost the game by two goals to 1, but gave the newly relegated Premier
League outfit a run for their money.

Well hello again. It's been a while, I hope you're all keeping well.
Last season I attempted to maintain some level of Fulham writing by providing occasional top
fives for this esteemed blog. Time rather got the better of me and the extensive research required
(i.e. reading Wikipedia) to produce a top five due to my appalling memory for facts hampered me
even further.

As if the local rivals needed any more animosity between them, Aston Villa is closing in on the
capture of Birmingham City's former manager Alex McLeish after agreeing to pay the Blues £2
million in compensation for the head coach.
Having quit Birmingham City via email just four days ago, McLeish has been in talks with Villa
over the last couple days and it appears the two sides are ready to make a deal for his
services.
The USSF has released the pairings for the First and Second Round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.
But considering the regional nature of the tournament, rather than seeding, the Seattle Sounders
will have to wait until after the First Round is complete to discover their opponent and venue to
defend the 2010 and 2009 Cups.
I always get emotional this time of year. What am I going to do when I don;t have the Wanderers
to elate or disappoint me every weekend? I'll probably have to pick up a real hobby. Anyway, no use
in worry about that just yet as there's 90 minutes left to be played this season. Manchester City
will make the short trip to the Reebok, a stadium at which they are winless in their last 5
games.
Pity Thai Port. Plagued by financial worries off the field, they made the short trip to Sri Racha
yesterday, had two players red carded and lost 2-1, providing the hosts with their first win of the
season. Just days earlier Sri Racha had appointed former Thai national player Dusit Chalermsan as
their new manager.

Carroll searches for his first Liverpool goal... Manchester City make the short trip to Anfield
tomorrow night in what should be a decent game for the home crowd. After suffering a 3-0 defeat
earlier in the season under Roy Hodgson Liverpool will surely be looking to gain some dignity back
and also a needed 3 points after the disappointing loss at the hands of West Brom last weekend.
Milan, Munich, Barcelona, Madrid, just four great names that spring to mind when United fans
think of European away trips. Nearly 100,000 in the Camp Nou, a rocking San Siro, the sight of the
red lights that surround the Allianz, sights you would normally be seeing when you follow the reds
in Europe, but just over 40,000 at Stamford Bridge just isn't quite the same.
Nicklas Bendtner is likely to play in his favored central striker role on Saturday, when Denmark

missing for the Norwegian's and his own form.
