Hell hath no fury than a spurned football manager, particularly if it's Neil Warnock. The ex-QPR boss, who tends to divide opinion (people either strongly dislike him or hate him), has hit out at the influence of critics and players on owner Tony Fernandes, claiming that his own reputation was "slowly poisoned" by outside forces with Twitter playing a key role in his downfall.

It's a rather interesting time for The Sun to be pointing the finger at others in football, isn't it? However, as a bastion of morality, the newspaper gives us a couple of photos from the recent Sheffield derby which are apparently supposed to have us shaking our heads in disbelief at the state of the nation and the beautiful game.

The Government has been ordered to publish documents revealing the discussions held by Margaret Thatcher about the 1989 Hillsborough disaster. Information Commissioner Christopher Graham ruled that the information was in the public interest.
In a decision notice, he said: "Support for disclosure of information relating to the Hillsborough disaster was expressed by the previous government and has been reconfirmed by the current Government, and the commissioner also believes that the specific content of the information in question would add to public knowledge and understanding about the reaction of various parties to that event, including the government of the day, in the early aftermath.

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that we finally won a game thanks to goals from Kyle Walker, who made one of the most impressive debuts we've seen in claret and blue in recent memory, Marc Albrighton and Stiliyan Petrov.

The bad news is that the scoreline flatters us; it wasn't pretty at times, and we finished the game with ten men after Ashley Young was dismissed for what was a very soft second booking, meaning that we'll be without both Emile Heskey and Young for the Birmingham game now.
