Sunday, March 18th at Buck Shaw Stadium has been moved up a day and will instead take place at AT&T

Sporting Kansas City has been no stranger to late-game heroics, and the club once again relied
on that to earn a result.
Sporting earned a dramatic 1-1 victory with the San Jose Earthquakes at Buck Shaw Stadium on
Saturday night in a game that saw two late goals scored within seconds of each other.
Mike Woitalla of Soccer America writes of the record season for Major League Soccer attendance-
Ten Week 26 games averaged 17,646 fans as MLS, with just more than a month left in the regular
season, is on pace to break its season attendance record.

The Chicago Fire's recent success hit a significant bump in the road as they fell to the San Jose
Earthquakes, 2-0, on Saturday at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
Chris Wondolowski had a goal and an assist and Ramiro Corrales also added a goal for San Jose,
which ended a 13-game winless streak.
Shaw-footed Wales were within a whisker of snatching a point against a poor England last night. And
there is no doubt about the moment that would have haunted them last night, especially Cardiff City
striker Robert Earnshaw. With no defenders around him and most of the goal to aim for, Earnshaw
managed to fire over [.
Two second-half goals from captain Dwayne De Rosario helped visiting D.C. United to a 2-0 win over
the punch less San Jose Earthquakes last night at Buck Shaw Stadium on the campus of Santa Clara

Union Control Run of Play But Settle For 0-0 Draw With San Jose
Despite creating plenty of chances last night at Buck Shaw Stadium, the Philadelphia Union were
unable to score. Fortunately, they managed to keep a clean sheet as well and picked up their first
West Coast point this season.
The draw moved them back into a tie for first place with the New York Red Bulls, but the Union
have played two less games.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The last time the San Jose Earthquakes turned in a road performance of
comparable listlessness as their 2-0 defeat Wednesday against Chivas USA, it was a 3-0 wipeout at
New York on April 16.
San Jose followed up that Red Bulls mugging with a dreadful, come-from-ahead 2-1 loss to Chivas
that drew boos of derision from the Buck Shaw Stadium faithful.
Hello July (well, almost). Hard to believe it but another month is down in Major League Soccer
and the league heads into possibly one of the busier months with friendlies taking place, USOC
games going on, CCL play-in games happening and of course the all-crazy transfer market opening
up.
MLS moves into one of it's important weekends of the season, the July 4th holiday weekend.
Before the 2011 season started, necessity forced Mike Magee to slide into the middle of the
field from usual role as a forward for the LA Galaxy.
On Saturday, a greater need demanded a resonsibility that required Magee to offer one of his
finest moments as the Galaxy lost both Donovan Ricketts and Josh Saunders to an injury and straight
red card, respectively.
Daniel Paladini -- Getty ImagesThe Chicago Fire edged the San Jose Earthquakes, 5-4, in a shootout
on Tuesday at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., to advance to the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open
Cup.
Chicago overcame a 2-0 deficit, needed 120 minutes and then penalty kicks during its play-in match
to assure itself a spot in the Open Cup for a 14th straight season.
Tonight's Chicago Fire vs. San Jose Earthquakes game at Buck Shaw Stadium starts at 9:30 PM CST.
You can listen to the game at the San Jose Earthquakes website or check out this link which seems
to be run by the San Jose Earthquakes too but doesn't have the chat. I like the feel of the latter
link but I think I'll need the game descriptions from the chat.

winning four times from 1998 to 2006.

I am usually hesitant to comment from a televised match and tonight that hesitation is stronger.
The camera locations and angles at Buck Shaw stadium must be the worst in MLS. Tight close-ups and
meaningless wide shots, followed by tight, meaningless close-ups.
Toronto tied San Jose Earthquakes on the road and that is reason for cheer.
360 Architecture is the company that has worked on these proposed stadium designs for the new
Earthquakes stadium. Movement on the stadium has been slow due to lack of a naming sponsor and the
downturn in the real estate market. Originally the city of San Jose wanted the stadium to sit on a

I love talking and meeting new soccer fans on Twitter. Today I met Lori Shaw. She is a die
hard D.C. United fan and backed up her support of the team 100 million times percent by getting the
D.C. United logo tattooed on her back. That is pretty cool! Way to represent Lori and thanks
for letting me post this pic!
