Official announcements were made to the PLUS market towards the close of business today (Friday
1 May 2009) that Stan Kroenke has acquired a further 4,839 Arsenal Holdings shares to take his
total stake in the club's holding company to 17,613 shares, or 28.3% of the total 62,217
issued.

Just when the Club is trying to get over the emotion of the last week, the unpleasant reminder
of a predator in the wings resurfaced. Alisher Usmanov through his red and White Holdings seem hell
bent on reaching the blocking majority needed to paralyse the club.
Already having become the biggest single shareholder in the club, Usmanov refused to weaken his
vice like grip on the club, by purchasing yet more shares.
