Having opened up a 10-point advantage over second-place Barcelona, Real Madrid manager Jose
Mourinho has begun organizing a victory parade through the Catalan capital to celebrate his club's
first La Liga title since 2008. Though the parade will not go off until the end of the season in
May, Mourinho has already started making unprecedented arrangements to hold a title celebration in
a rival city.
Barcelona's shocking away form resulted in another loss last night, and with it any chance that
Barca has of retaining their La Liga title this season.

FIFA President Sepp Blatter got into the groove at the Ballon d'Or awards on Monday by performing a
funky hip dance with 'Hips Don't Lie' pop sensation Shakira. Emerging from the back to present an
award, Blatter instantly became the envy of the room when he rather salaciously performed a hip
dance alongside Shakira.

Forget Lionel Messi, it was all about Homare Sawa's
kimono (traditional Japanese costume) at the FIFA Ballon D'or awards in Zurich last night!
The captain of the Japanese women's team and winner of the FIFA Women's Ballon
d'Or lit up the stage with that outfit which should make her countrymen and women
extremely proud today.
Japanese World Cup winner Homare Sawa beat out a strong field that included Brazilian Marta and
Abby Wambach to win the FIFA Women's World Player of the year 2011.
Marta who was looking to win the award for a 6th consecutive time had to contend with a second
place finish while Abby Wambach of the USA came in in third place.
When it comes to flying first class in casual clothes, there were three distinct themes that a
few Barcelona 'ballers and their WAGs abided by during the all important procession in front of the
paps this morning.

Colombian pop star/Gerard Pique's on-again girlfriend, Shakira, loved the Hollywood Walk of Fame
Star that she received on 8th of November so much she was compelled to lay next to it on the dirty
sidewalk. The singer's parents were at the ceremony as well, but showed restraint when asked to
join in their daughter's unsanitary fun.

If you though HIK's previous overwrought/decidedly annoying goal celebrations (think Shakira,
Guns N' Roses, etc) were low budget and chintzy just wait until you see their latest offering, 'The
Goal of Love'.
Scored in the same game that spawned the Axl Rose-aping tomfoolery, the 'Goal of Love' sees a
chap named Soares bag a completely unremarkable goal, charge into the crowd to kiss his girlfriend
Alysson and then, for the benefit of mankind, produce a naff tribute video (complete with
Avatar-esque 'special' effects) to mark the occasion that is so cringe-inducing that it made a
little bit of sick come up.
So Gerard Pique has told Catalonia daily, El Mundo Deportivo big
'Waka Waka' fans, by the way that he hasn't been in tuned with all those
relationship rumours about Shakira and just wants to focus on Spain's campaign
ahead.
