Good Afternoon! Another beautiful one here in RBNY Land. The Red Bulls are back in action today
(against the Revs) in a must-win game before a brutal 4 game road trip. Before tonight's game,
however, let's examine some of the RBNY related happenings of the past week.
Joel Lindpere to Leicester City?
I'm in Kansas City and enjoying it immensely. Nice people, great BBQ and an awe-inspiring stadium.
Plus, you can buy a beer in bar for $2 instead of $8. A fellow could get used to this.
I am bummed out though that I will not be in New York tonight for Seth Stammler's return. I always
thought he was underrated in this league and he's probably my all-time favorite RBNY player.

The New York Red Bulls will begin their journey toward the club's first MLS Cup title in Mexico,
where the team's pre-season will hit full swing.
The regular season Eastern Conference champions are coming in off a busy off-season that saw the
club's roster revamped and expectations raised for a team loaded with headliners.
No, not them. As the offseason winds down, the Red Bulls have undergone quite a facelift. New
York has added plenty of new faces and parted with some old ones as well. With all these changes,
the question on many fan's minds is, "How will Hans Backe make it all work?"
First things first, the Red Bulls have officially signed long sought after striker, Luke
Rodgers from Notts County in England.
Major League Soccer clubs have either opened up their training camp or about too. So it is a
perfect time them for the first MLS rankings of 2011, courtesy of the MLS Soccer.
There is little surprise that the team who made the single biggest splash this offseason is
ranked number one.
If you're like me, it seems like this winter has been absolutely interminable - and we're still
about a week away from February. After the disappointing end to last season, Red Bulls fans are
eager to get back at it and see if we can finally win that elusive cup. Well, we won't have to wait
too much longer.
I'm not exactly sure if I'm breaking this story (although I haven't seen it reported on any
other site as of now), but Matt Kassel has signed with New York. According to a Facebook status
update, Kassel states, "It was fun Maryland but New York Red Bulls it is!!! ..thanks for all the
support everyone.

It's been a long time since Red Bulls fans have experienced such a quiet offseason. While other MLS
teams have been announcing roster moves and unveiling coaching changes (and while the David Beckham
to Tottenham Hotspur loan saga has been playing out in L.A.), RBNY fans have had to be content with
the merest crumbs of information.
