CARSON, Calif. -- The rich got even richer on Tuesday as the Los Angeles Galaxy solidified
their role as odds-on MLS Cup favorites by re-securing Brazilian midfielder Juninho on a year-long
loan.
Juninho, who served as the Galaxy's midfield engine during the past two seasons, returns to Los
Angeles after departing in December to return to Brazilian parent club Sao Paulo.

The Los Angeles Galaxy enjoyed a banner day on Wednesday, but it was by no means a perfect one.
After signing forward Edson Buddle and acquiring midfielder Kyle Nakazawa in a deal from the
Philadelphia Union, the Galaxy learned that homegrown signing Jose Villarreal will be out for six
weeks.

The San Jose Earthquakes believe that they have found another compliment to Chris Wondolowski
with the signing of Turkish forward Sercan Güvenışık.
The 31-year-old German league veteran impressed the Earthquakes during a two month trial with
the club last season, which included scoring two goals in a reserve match against the Los Angeles
Galaxy.

new two-year-deal with the club.

Sources confirmed to Soccer By Ives on Wednesday that the English star would be returning to the
Los Angeles Galaxy for the upcoming 2012 season.
A press conference is expected to take place on Thursday in Los Angeles to announce Beckham's
re-signing.

Juninho put the Galaxy ahead in the 29th minute with a dipping ball from distance that was too
much for Motagua goalkeeper Kerpo De Leon.

defeated Chivas USA in the SuperClasico in front of 27,000 at the Home Depot Center.

Los Angeles Galaxy defender Gregg Berhalter announced his retirement on Wednesday, effective
after the end of the 2011 season. Over the course of his 18-year professional career, Berhalter

CARSON, Calif.-- An own goal proved decisive as the Los Angeles Galaxy continued their pursuit
of the Supporters Shield by overcoming their first halftime deficit of the season in a 2-1 victory
over Real Salt Lake.
RSL was able to put the Galaxy on their heels in the 45th minute when Fabian Espindola opened
the scoring, but a goal by Chad Barrett and an own goal by RSL's Nat Borchers gave the Galaxy the
victory.

for the final two places atop the CONCACAF Champions League's Group A.

CONCACAF Champions League, beating the Vancouver Whitecaps in relatively easy fashion for the
second time this season.
Mike Magee scored twice and Robbie Keane tallied the other adding an assist as the Galaxy were

It's likely been a wild year for Tristan Bowen. At one point he was the Major League Soccer's
first academy player to sign a professional contract and up until this season he had shown a lot of
promise. He had two goals and two assists in 10 starts, but more relevantly looked consistently
dangerous and appeared to be a forward of the future.

CARSON, Calif. –Irish eyes were smiling on Robbie Keane as he arrived in Los Angeles, but now
the hard work begins for the new Los Angeles Galaxy forward.
Keane was officially unveiled by the Galaxy on Friday amid waiving Irish flags and a traditional
Gaelic welcome, "Céad míle fáilte," or a 100,000 welcomes" from the Irish Consulate
General.

The hex for MLS clubs in Mexico has finally been broken.
Marvin Chavez scored in the 66th minute to give FC Dallas a 1-0 victory over Pumas UNAM in their
Group C opener. With the win, Dallas become the first team from MLS to win in Mexico in the
