AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf is anxiously awaiting the arrival of Los Angeles Galaxy's
David Beckham, stating that the Englishman's arrival will be a welcome boost for the Rossoneri.
Beckham is set to enjoy his second loan spell at the Italian club following a successful spell

We might be dating ourselves a bit here, but the last time we really expended much thought onÂ
Sampdoria was back in the early 1990s when they won their only scuddetto

Blucerchiati are back in vogue thanks to their comprehensive defeat of Inter
Milan over the weekend and their current appearance at the top of the Serie A
table for the first time in a very, very long time.

Looking at the Serie A table going into last weekend, the Lazio/Juventus matchup presented the
most promise. Each team had won its first two games. Would this game produce beautiful, flowing
football that might serve to entice a Serie A neophyte? In a word, no.
The first half was almost completely forgettable.

It's back to 'European' Football Weekends with a trip to AC Siena v Chievo this Sunday. A quick
look at the Serie A table shows these two teams sitting just about the relegation zone. As such a
draw would suit both. Whose to say that as I type the two Chairman aren't sitting in a restaurant

suit both parties.

AC Milan
As the season comes to a close the top of the Serie A table makes for sobering reading for those
behind Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri have won the league at a canter this season and in truth it
never looked as if anyone was going to catch Mourinho's men. AC Milan may occupy third spot in the
table now but their season has been characterised more by a bid for Champions League qualification
than chasing the Scudetto and for the   Rossoneri's fans this just simply isn't good
enough.
