  • We don't have to tell you who scored against Villarreal... but unfortunately, Nilmar's side fell to Los Blancos in yesterday's game and these sexay tipos got the three points they needed. "They [Villarreal] are difficult to beat at home but we managed it," said Ronaldo.

Can Sampdoria be the surprise of the season?

The Offside: Italy 21 September @ 04:38 PM EST

Since there is a mid-week round this Wednesday, I'll get a super Weekend Round-up post up on Thursday. If you look at the Serie A table right now, you'll see that leading the top of the table is Sampdoria (tied with Juventus, but ahead of goals scored). Sampdoria have never won their first 4 games ever in their history.

The first half was almost completely forgettable.

European Football Weekends 17 April @ 05:06 PM EST
It's back to 'European' Football Weekends with a trip to AC Siena v Chievo this Sunday. A quick look at the Serie A table shows these two teams sitting just about the relegation zone. As such a draw would suit both. Whose to say that as I type the two Chairman aren't sitting in a restaurant in Tuscany concocting - and I'd better throw in the word 'allegedly' here - a stalemate that would suit both parties. Rebuilding AC Milan

Serie A Talk 17 April @ 05:45 AM EST

AC Milan may occupy third spot in the table now but their season has been characterised more by a bid for Champions League qualification than chasing the Scudetto and for the   Rossoneri's fans this just simply isn't good enough.
