FC Barcelona could have handed over the Liga title to Real Madrid unofficially after drawing
away at 17th placed Villareal. The lead at the top of the summit is seven points which could be too
much for our boys to climb. Already with a very depleted side, we weren't helped by Guardiola's
decision making all night.
Villarreal will be without Cristian Zapata, Cani, Marco Ruben and Marcos Senna for their Group A
meeting with Manchester City, while Javier Camuñas is doubtful.
These injuries are in addition to Giuseppe Rossi, who is out for six months, after knee surgery
earlier this week.
The most serious of the other injuries appears to be to Zapata, who strained a ligament in his
right knee during Saturday's 2-0 Liga win against Rayo Vallecano, an injury which is likely to
sideline him for five weeks.

Ayrton Senna, this would be my Victory Walk, braah!" look.
Los Blancos received their complimentary Audi cars (you know they'd rather get a
Porsche, or in Xabi Alonso's case, a truck) at a commercial event
yesterday.
Villarreal will play in the Champions League group stages for the third time thanks in part to
two second-half goals from Giuseppe Rossi against Odense.
For 50 minutes at El Madrigal it was the Stefan Wessels show as the goalkeeper did his utmost to
preserve OB's 1-0 first-leg lead. Once Rossi scored for the sixth successive European home game,
however, the hosts' momentum proved impossible to resist.
