None of the top five won at the weekend which meant Roma's impressive home win over Inter was all
the more sweeter as they are moved to joint sixth with Napoli and just five points behind Inter
with a game in hand. AC Milan were unable to overcome a plucky Napoli side in a match where Zlatan
Ibrahimovic disgraced himself by earning a red card for fighting.
...It just doesn't look the same without Elaines wonderful art, does it?
And the Azzurri side doesn't look the same without Antonio Cassano, Guiseppe Rossi or Sebastian
Giovinco either...:(
Anyways, heres the lineups and whatnot for tonights game, heres to a good start to the Euro 2012
preparations!

Against Lecce we saw the very best and the very worst of Milan. Luckily, despite being 3-0 down at
half-time we were able to come back and win in the most dramatic of circumstances. The team will
head into the Parma fixture inspired by their win at the Stadio via del Mare. Kevin Prince [...]
Inspired performances by Andrea Pirlo and Antonio Cassano lead Italy to a memorable 3-0 victory
over an ordinary Northern Ireland side in Pescara. Qasa Alom reports AC Milan's Antonio Cassano was
warned prior to the match that this would be his last chance in the national set-up after offensive
comments to a journalist last week – and FantAntonio really didn't disappoint with a brilliant
brace.

It was an eventful start to the new Serie A season in Italy with champions AC Milan coming from
behind to gain a useful point at home to Lazio whilst local rivals Internazionale were defeated in
an amazing game by four goals to three away at Palermo. Juventus were the big winners of the
weekend when putting AC Parma to the sword by four goals to one in the first official league match
played at their new Juventus Arena stadium.
2010 -11 Recap A mid-table finish last term does not tell the whole story of a nerve wracking
campaign for I Ducali which saw them flirt with relegation right up until the closing few weeks of
the season. A change at the helm in early April, which saw former Bologna tactician Franco Colomba
substitute Pasquale Marino in the Ennio Tardini hot-seat, proved a season saving move by larger
than life.
Sebastian Giovinco doesn't want to remove his shirt, but unfortunately we're commanding him to via
our exciting new telekinesis app. It is futile to resist, Seb. Just get it off, will ya? Image:

So the news is back! Sorry for the delays with some of my recent articles, but Wordpress has
been acting up. The transfer window is very much alive, unfortunately.
- Juventus continue to pursue a striker in La Liga, but it's no longer Sergio Aguero, instead
Villarreal's Giuseppe Rossi might be on his way to Turin.

Has it really been a year since we enjoyed the players of Parma FC frolicking about in fountains
as part of their pre-season training? We seriously need to take control of our lives. Before we
know it we'll be far to old for footballers to be interested in us for anything other than their
club approved 'care in the community' stint.
It may not seem so now, but Parma was once a major protagonist in Italian football. After
financial turmoil and relegation a short few years ago, it may seem that the club is a far cry from
the likes of Inter and Milan, but the truth is quite the opposite. As recently as 2002 the side won
the Coppa Italia as well as the UEFA Cup: two competitions in which Parma were regulars in between
the late.
Parma have acquired half the sporting rights of Italian midfielder Sebastian Giovinco from
Juventus.
squadra dove [.
Inter's continual collapse Last season's treble winners have impressed no one in recent weeks.
Losing to relegation-threatened, massively-underachieving Parma made matters far worse for the
Nerazzurri and increased the pressure massively on coach Leonardo. Even more insulting, the two
goalscorers on the weekend were Sebastian Giovinco and Amauri, two attacking players very much
associated with.
Most Serie A weekends feature a handful of decent games, a few that may seem promising, and maybe
one or two truly mouth-watering clashes. Match Day Thirty-One, however, offers no less than three
games that appear ever-s- tantalizing on paper, as well as one that will likely germinate goals
galore. Two trios of attacking prowess, the slide of a once-great side, and the ponderings of
reciprocation.
Prandelli's Blueprint Notes on the new Italy is a post from: Just Football
You do remember Italy at World Cup 2010 right? Hopeless. David Swan reports
on the newly evolving Azzurri:
There is nothing Italy loves more than being written off, ignored, and forgotten.
Now that we know the squad that Cesare Prandelli is taking with him it is time to discuss the
matches coming up. Italy have two games within a 4 day stretch, and they will be the away side for
both games. However, there is a big difference between the two games. One is a Euro Qualifier that,
with a win, could send Italy to a very safe place in group C and the other is an international
friendly.
When you look at the Serie A stat columns you're not surprised to see guys like Edinson Cavani,
Antonio Di Natale and Zlatan Ibrahimovic potting goals for fun. You're not surprised to see that
Lucio leads the league in interceptions, Gennaro Gattuso has the most tackles won, Amauri has
thanked his teammates the most after flailing at a ball, and Francesco Totti has the most frowns.
Some of the less heralded teams in the Italian top flight are also getting into the act. Sebastian
Giovinco is having a breakthrough season with Parma, while Davide Santon will now get first team
football each and every week with Cesena. The young talents that Italy has to offer are finally
getting opportunities to showcase their ability, something that should be very exciting for fans on
the.
Cesare Prandelli has a big test coming up, when the Italian national team faces Germany in
Dortmund on February 8th. His list of 23 called up players features some new faces, along with a
few returning veterans. Yet the squad which has been called up is missing some important players
who are injured.

The 19th Giornata has ended, which means the first part of the season is officially over. So
this weekend the Serie A calendar will start all over again from the beginning, just inverted. It
was an interesting weekend in Serie A with 30 goals scored and lots of great games. Milan continue
to lead the way with 40 points, while Napoli are sole second with 36 points.
Leonardo good off to a winning start in charge of Inter as Thiago Motta scored twice to help
Inter beat Napoli 3-1. in a 3-1 success against SSC Napoli in the final game of a full Epiphany
programme in Serie A.
Thiago Motta was the hero for the home side with the first and the last goal in a pulsating
game.
Rodney Strasser's goal proved the difference for Milan against Cagliari
Little known Rodney Strasser scored the decisive goal just six minutes from the end as AC Milan
finally got the better of hosts Cagliari in the latest round of Serie A matches. Earlier in the day
Juventus were thumped at home by AC Parma whilst Lazio could only draw away at Genoa.
Juventus vs Parma Stadio Olimpico, Turin- January 6, 2011- Thursday Final score :- Juventus 1-4
Parma ( Nicola Legrottaglie/Sebastian Giovinco*2, Hernan Crespo, Rafael Palladino) Sebastian
Giovinco scored a brace against his former club as Juventus were thrashed 4-1 by Parma in their
first Serie A game of 2011.
There's little doubt the dirtiest play of the year in 2010 was Nigel De Jong's ode to Carl
Douglas in the World Cup final - Dirty Tackle seems to agree, and by golly if they aren't the
authority on the subject.
Felipe Melo got to setting the bar supremely high for 2011, leaping out well ahead of the pack
with some studs to the face of Parma's Massimo Paci all of 15 minutes after the Serie A campaign
had rebooted.
