Brighton have apologised to Crystal Palace after excrement was found smeared on the Amex Stadium's away dressing room walls ahead of the Championship play-off semi-final second leg. Someone at Brighton with access to the dressing rooms had staged a dirty protest ahead of the match, and the Eagles arrived for the game to discover their [.
With it not being easy to shift season tickets in London, with city rivals Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea,
Fulham and West Ham all taking the volume, Crystal Palace decided to resort to good old-fashioned
perving to try and get bums on seats. The club asked their cheerleadering troupe The Crystals to
make a dance video involving [.
Over the years, football clubs have attempted a number of ways to help shift season tickets.
We've seen suicidal koala bears, sperm banks infested by zombie
lesbians from the future, fans laying huge eggs actually, they were all
Getafe but Crystal Palace have furrowed an altogether more traditional path this season by getting
their in-house cheerleading troupe (The Crystals) to strip down to their bikinis and mime along to
that infernal 'Call Me Maybe' song that's been playing on repeat in everyone's inner ears since
March.

In other assorted Timbers and Thorns FC news, another player from the 2012 team might not return while the Thorns FC give fans a chance to buy season tickets. Meanwhile, if you think you might have what it takes to be a Timber (ok, Timbers U-23) for real, there's two chances to tryout for a potential roster spot in March.
The Portland Timbers announced on December 4 some rather impressive numbers relating to ticket sales - a 96 percent renewal rate of current season ticket holders and a complete sell out of full season ticket package for 2013 even with raising their cap to just over 15,000 available.
This week, the Houston Dynamo announced details for 2013 season ticket packages, which begin at $400.00. These packages will include the 17 home MLS matches and three CONCACAF Champions League matches.
New this year is a Family Season Ticket package which includes $200.00 pricing for children under the age of 10.
It was not even a week ago when the Houston Dynamo last played, but it sure seems longer,
doesn't it?
In just the six days since the draw in Columbus (Honest to goodness, back on me olde site, I
once had a Q&A with some numbskull Columbus blogger, and one question my compatriot Mr3D wanted to
ask was "How do you live in the Midwest without wanting to commit seppuku every damn day?
"Keep rollin', rollin' rollin'..." We haven't had to eat a lot of crow in regards to Toronto FC over the years but today they prepared us a wee Crow Butty. While most supporters have been very vocal in their demand for lower prices on season tickets in 2013 before renewing - we had little belief that the club would actually come through.
"Today's attendance is 19,575... thank you fans"Getting casual fans to watch TFC
matches when times were good... well at least fun.... was a challenge. Now, as yet another season
enters the "playing for next year" phase, even getting the most ardent supporters interested grows
harder. For those of you who know they are addicted to this club and will be back next year despite
2012, finding a reason to watch a futile string of matches may be frustrating.
TFC Ticket Centre - "Operators are standing nearby"Things have been conspicuously
quiet so far on the TFC Season Ticket renewal front. In fairness, the job of TFC ticket rep is
currently ranking in career satisfaction alongside "Part-Time Hobo Foot Carer" and "Assistant Crack
Dealer". Perhaps the club is waiting for TFC fans to forget Joey Saputo's awesomely dropped Impact
price reduction boast or maybe they are waiting for TFC to go on a 5-game winning streak to get
supporters' spirits up.
The departure of Wolves wingers, Matt Jarvis and Steven Fletcher, to West Ham and Sunderland,
respectively, will leave a bitter taste in the mouth for Molineux fans, who see their hopes of
bouncing straight back into the Premier League take a cruel blow.
For many fans from the Black Country, their season tickets will have already been bought, shelling
out good money to watch their beloved club attempt to regain Premier League status.
(UPDATE: Despite reports that Rangers set a world record for a fourth-tier match, they're still
a ways behind Brazilian club Santa Cruz, who had as many as 59,966 fans for a Serie D match last
season.)
Rangers fans showed their optimism and support for the post-liquidation club at the first
match of the season -- a Scottish Communities League Cup first-round win against East Fife at Ibrox
-- but they turned it into a new record on Saturday.
The coming nine season will be the fifth since Stoke City ascended back to the Premier League,
and in surviving comfortably in this division they continue to frustrate the game's self-appointed
purists. Stoke remain the nearest thing that the division has to an antithesis of the self-image of
twenty-first century football.
It's the 88-89 Season, and I've been to every home game. One game left, away at Anfield, and our
first title in eighteen years is at stake. It's the most mustest of "must go to" games since ‘71.
One problem. I have also attended almost every home game for many seasons with three very good
mates.

2012-13 Premier League ticket prices: How much will your club charge next season? - originally
posted on Soccerlens.com
Despite the 2011-12 season just coming to an end plus Euro 2012 and the Olympics still to come
over a manic football summer, Premier League football fans are eagerly looking into next season's
season tickets.
Wigan. 15th
Prediction (18). Dexys Diamond. Moses.
I had Wigan to go down for about the 4th year running but the fairest of fair play to Martinez,
he's pulled the cat out of the bag once again and Wigan have extended their premier league stay for
another season at the JD.
West Brom reduce season ticket prices to help fans attend more games - originally posted on
Soccerlens.com
On the back of a successful season that saw them achieve their highest ever Premier League
finish, West Brom have reduced ticket prices in a bid to help the local community afford to watch
live football matches and to encourage families and young fans to attend more games.
Wow, what a busy week! The FO have announced season tickets would remain flat, the field would
be widened, TicketMaster would be fired and Caleb Porter would be hired.
What's that? We have two games in six days against the Colorado Rapids? Oh ... right.
When Stumptown Footy previewed the Colorado Rapids ahead of their first match this year against
the Portland Timbers, the Rapids weren't in great shape.
Good news for those of you who might have been dreading a possible annual rate increase in your
beloved Portland Timbers season ticket package as the FO just sent out a press release announcing
that the price you paid last year will be the price you pay later this year.
I think this goes without saying, but after struggling all season long and going through many a
difficulty on and off the field, this is probably one of the smartest things they could have
done.
Italian football may not have the most squeaky-clean image, but Serie A giants Milan have shown
a decent amount of generosity by agreeing to refund the season tickets of Rossoneri fans
disgruntled by the sale of two the club's biggest star, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva.
EDITOR'S NOTE: The Philly Soccer Page's series of fan posts continues now on a weekly
basis. This week, we feature a missive from Lori Bilyou, who is currently serving
in Afghanistan with the Delaware National Guard. Lori wrote this Saturday, before Philadelphia
Union's big win over Kansas City.
Upset by the sale of Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to PSG, a group of Milan supporters
expressed the widely held disappointment of their fellow fans by leaving a small funeral
arrangement outside the club's via Turati offices. A funeral card, candles and flowers were set up
near the building's front door in the scene made to symbolize the faith some fans have left in the
club after selling two of their best players.
There are several clubs which will turn up more than once on this list, and one of those is
Chester City FC. The story of this particular clubs last twenty years is one that could fill a book
on its own, but its demise can largely be traced to the activities of three men. One, Stephen
Vaughan, is unlikely to openly become involved in the running of a football club after being banned
under the FAs Fit & Proper Persons rules, from being involved in the directorship of any business
at the end of 2009.
Ivan Gazidis Strikes a Deal With the AISA and AST To Lower Ticket Prices Well, the fans' cries have
been heard and the board have budged a little so that fans can save some coin this season
considering ticket prices. Although, this doesn't apply to season tickets, but will for non
season-ticket holders.
Dynamo season ticket holders are receiving their season tickets today, mine arrived this
afternoon and I figured I would give everyone a look at what we got. The box includes match tickets
(including a foil embossed one for the inaugural match in the new stadium), a small book with some
information about the stadium and the new account management system, and a scarf.
By Tony Edwards - San Jose, CA (May 8, 2012) US Soccer Players -- In Tuesday's edition, Tony avoids
any discussion of statistics and asks which MLS coach got a vote of confidence already, wonders how
many season-tickets the Whitecaps have sold, makes plans for the month of June, and shakes his head
in disbelief at some of the League's uniform combinations.
After a brief "hiatus" from book reviewing, where I wrote about a lovely evening spent at Toyota
Park, I'm back with an interesting one titled "Football Inc.: How Soccer Fans are Losing the Game"
by Craig McGill.
In contrast with the other more analytically-minded soccer books I've reviewed so far, Football
Inc.
"I was into TFC before they were cool." Many of you are sitting in your window like a Jack Russell waiting for the Purolator delivery dude to bring your TFC Season Ticket package right now. Sit Ubu supporter, sit. Good supporter. However, not only are your vouchers to a year of exciting somewhat palatable football in that tardy box but also a bold fashion choice.
The season tickets for next season's Seattle Sounders Women are going on sale for the current STH's this week. Watch your email for the details. The remaining tickets will go on sale to the public on September 22nd. This brought up questions for me and my fellow fans. What of the new pro team? What if the new team somehow works a deal to become the Sounders Women pro team, while the current incarnation of the SSW become the academy type team?
Virginia Clashes With Mount St. Mary's Tuesday at Klöckner Stadium Cavaliers and

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia men's soccer team entertains Mount St. Mary's at 7 p.m.

"We do not want to put prices up. People might say we have put membership up on the season tickets.
But that is going straight into the Academy. It was discounted for the first year but that is going
into the Academy because we need to find the money from somewhere." Said Derek Llambias defending

This is awesome. I got a rude e-mail from an FC Dallas fan named . Apparently I need to quit
blogging because "it's just terrible".
HAHAHAHAHA. Ok buddy, no problem...I'll quit tomorrow. Alright, I'll be fair for a second. The
writer is entitled to his opinion and if he doesn't like me or the blog, that's perfectly fine.
"I'm hearing mixed messages from people with good connections to the board. There is no question
that there will be a massive number of Celtic die-hards who will not renew their season tickets if
the board do anything other than oppose NewHuns in the SPL.
The Silverbacks have really put a focus on connecting with the community this year. They've done
this through engaging the fans and local area businesses.
"As an organization, we want to continue growing and developing, but we want to achieve that
with the community at our side," said Silverbacks Owner Boris Jerkunica.
