Today, Sporting KC released information regarding the sell of single-game tickets. Starting next week, the team will start selling single game tickets to the team's first 8 home games. Games against New England, Dallas, LA, Real Salt Lake, Montreal, San Jose, Toronto and Chicago. Tickets will begin to go on sale starting February 13th for season ticket holders.

The Seattle Sounders have played in three U.S. Open Cup title games and three MLS Cup playoff series, but the match against Santos Laguna in the CONCACAF Champions League on March 7 may be the biggest match in franchise history. Not to be too much of a shill, but if you're enough of a fan of this team to be reading this blog, you probably should plan on being at Century Link Field that day.

Section 8 Chicago, the Independent Supporters Association for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club, has a part of their website dedicated to Away Trip planning and discussion. Once the season gets closer, Section 8 is the place to go to purchase away tickets and for some games, away game bus tickets that depart from Chicago.

"After taking a detailed look at increasing capacity at the end of our first MLS season, we are comfortable with raising capacity at JELD-WEN Field to accommodate the demand for tickets without negatively impacting the fan experience," said Mike Golub, COO of the Timbers.

Hope you aren't on the waiting list as the Portland Timbers announced today that more than 97% of the current 12,500 season ticket holders have renewed for 2012 and that's only within the first month and a half of when the renewals were even available to be purchased! My guess that damn near 100% will be renewed before the end of the year.

It's about a 280-mile round trip from Alexandria, Va., to PPL Park in Chester. On the way, I drive past RFK Stadium, home of D.C. United, and three baseball stadiums two Major League, one minor (Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Md.

QPR'S pledge to refund money to a season ticket holder with a restricted view of the Loftus Road pitch has led to an internet campaign to find the world's worst seat at football.

Having been a proud shelfside season ticket holder from the tender age of six, dating back to the somewhat successful (for the Gerry Francis era) 1994-95 season, my first Spurs game must have been a 2-0 home win against Everton off the back of 'that' game away at Sheffield Wednesday.

'That' game saw the introduction of perhaps Spurs' greatest ever player, and in turn the introduction of a goal celebration that had mum's all over the country fuming and 'Vanish' and 'Daz' shareholders laughing all the way to the bank.

Yesterday in Plymouth, 'Cornish-based property developer' Kevin Heaney appeared to finally disappear from contention as the part-saviour of the Argyle Football Club, as he should have done months ago in Plymouth. And, it would seem, 'Devon-based entrepreneur' James Brent appeared to finally re-appear as the preferred bidder for the club, as he should have been months ago in Plymouth.
