The public are comfortable with Harry Redknapp. His rumpled, down-to-earth persona harks back to
a bygone era before football became a commercial monster, evoking soft fuzzy Sunday evening
television images of a time when society was less complicated and life was better. With Harry, like
him or not, you know where you are.
Today, Sporting KC released information regarding the sell of single-game tickets. Starting next
week, the team will start selling single game tickets to the team's first 8 home games. Games

will begin to go on sale starting February 13th for season ticket holders.
The Seattle Sounders have played in three U.S. Open Cup title games and three MLS Cup playoff
series, but the match against Santos Laguna in the CONCACAF Champions League on March 7 may be the
biggest match in franchise history. Not to be too much of a shill, but if you're enough of a fan of
this team to be reading this blog, you probably should plan on being at Century Link Field that
day.
As our 'Turmoil Week' draws to a close, we turn the spotlight westwards to Plymouth, arguably the
most well-documented club in crisis over the past 18 months or so. Thankfully, the situation at
Home Park now appears to be settling down but here season ticket holder Roger Willis takes a look
back over an incredible few years, describing in detail the events that very nearly led to the
Pilgrims' demise.
After the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United at the Emirates on Sunday, I was emailing with a
friend who has been an Arsenal season ticket holder since the ‘70s. He knows infinitely more
about the team than I do, so I figured I'd let him speak in his own words. (My email comments
inserted for clarity of what questions/comments he's responding to.

The draft is over, training camps are opening up and the season is less than two months away.
It has been a while since we looked at promotional efforts around the league, so we thought the

the start of the 2012 campaign.
If you just can't get enough Chicago Fire action with 17 home games, the option to travel to an
away game is always there. Section 8 Chicago, the Independent Supporters Association for the
Chicago Fire Soccer Club, has a part of their website dedicated to Away Trip planning and
discussion. Once the season gets closer, Section 8 is the place to go to purchase away tickets and
for some games, away game bus tickets that depart from Chicago.

Round White Hart LaneSometimes in football cup draws fall the way you like and prior to the draw for the 3rd round of

Major League Soccer will release the full schedule tomorrow at 1:00 PM CST but a couple of
different outlets have combined to give us a picture of 10 of the 34 MLS Regular Season games. The
bulk of this information comes from the Chicago Fire front office sending out a sneak peak E-mail
this afternoon that included the 'Significant Six': six top games to amp up the excitement.
As we have done every year since starting this site, we think it is time to take a look at
holiday ticket promotions around Major League Soccer. This year we will run similar posts over
the next couple of weeks to cover the efforts of multiple teams to sell tickets over the
holidays. We'll start with Colorado, where the Rapids are offering a Holiday 5 Pack which
includes 5 of the most sought after matches, including the home opener, July 4th and the Galaxy
visit combined with a free gift from adidas.
The Chicago Fire might be in the off-season but Section 8 Chicago keeps working on. The Section
8 monthly Board Meeting will take place tonight, December 7 at 7:00 PM at The Atlantic Bar & Grill,
5062 N. Lincoln Avenue in Chicago. As always, the board meetings are open and everyone is invited
to attend.
