Looks like I was wrong again, it seems my early predictions that it would be Arsenal and Man City who vie for the EPL are way off the mark. Embarrassing as that lofty prediction now seems I don't regret it. As a season ticket holder one of the things that keeps me paying the annual expense is a genuine belief that the good guys could bring the title back to THOF and this preseason was no exception.

Being a Queens Park Rangers fan is not easy. The last few years have been a roller coaster ride, to say the least. As a QPR fan and season ticket holder, I can tell you thatbeing a QPR fan is a completely different experience to any other Premier League club.
Even if Loftus Road is the smallest ground in the league, it has one of the greatest atmospheres in the whole country.
Democracy in sports, y'all! Thanks to the Alliance Council, Sounders season ticket holders now have the opportunity to vote on the design for the scarf that will be distributed to STH's in 2013. This was originally conceived as a chance for the fans to design scarves and use a contest to decide the winner, but scheduling constraints led to a compromise in which the team's designers would come up with 4 alternatives and let the fans vote on the winner.
Burrito is back! And want The Ultras and Flight 19 to learn and sing this song for the Strikers vs

At today's season ticket holder party the Rapids unveiled the new 2013 home jerseys, modeled above
by captain Drew Moor. The dark bands you see are the 2012 season ticket holders names on the
jersey. The white sleeves are an intentional connection to the Arsenal jersey (also owned by
Kroenke) and you can't see it under Drew's left hand, but there's a small Colorado state flag on
the lower left of the jersey.
Next month the U.S Women's National Team will play Australia at the Dick as part of their gold
medal celebration tour. That's a great friendly for the Rapids to line up. I'm not that interested
in women's soccer so I'm not planning on going but I know a lot of Rapids fans are excited about
the game, and given the season we've had, the Front Office doing something to get fans excited is a
good thing.
Upset by the sale of Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to PSG, a group of Milan supporters
expressed the widely held disappointment of their fellow fans by leaving a small funeral
arrangement outside the club's via Turati offices. A funeral card, candles and flowers were set up
near the building's front door in the scene made to symbolize the faith some fans have left in the
club after selling two of their best players.
The Seattle Sounders are now accepting entries for the lottery that will allocate tickets for
the four Cascadia Cup away matches. The lottery is open to all season-ticket holders who are not
paid member of a supporters' group, who have been given their own allocation for those four
games.
There are 74 tickets available for each of the four games, meaning a total of 296 tickets will
be available to non-supporters' group members.
Prior to the Fulham game on Monday, representatives from the various groups behind the Old
Trafford Singing Section met with senior Manchester United Officials Michael Bollingbroke, Phil
Townsend and Karl Evans to discuss the Singing Section proposal.
As Manchester United had already decided to relocate away supporters to North Stand Tier 3, a
decision made by the club before the singing section proposal was submitted, this has left an empty
space within Old Trafford.
Several weeks ago, a concerned season ticket holder for the New England Revolution spoke to me
about all the frustrations his fellow fans were having with the organization. This person was new
to the area and proud to support his team, but put off a bit by how out of sorts the fans were over
their treatment in past years.
Today, Sporting KC released information regarding the sell of single-game tickets. Starting next
week, the team will start selling single game tickets to the team's first 8 home games. Games
against New England, Dallas, LA, Real Salt Lake, Montreal, San Jose, Toronto and Chicago. Tickets
will begin to go on sale starting February 13th for season ticket holders.
New Chelsea FC song, The Colour is Blue 2012 music video, out now at

One afternoon in mid July, after months of planning, the Eastern Blues Official Chelsea Supporters
Club (Norfolk & Suffolk) got together with professional musician, songwriter and East Stand season
ticket holder Michael Armstrong to perform a new Chelsea song at Drill Hall Music Studio's in
Beccles.
On 23rd July, an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Chelsea Pitch Owners will be held. Voting
will take place on 5 resolutions to determine whether the CPO can sell shares again.
At the heart of this issue, over and above the possibility of criminal liability, is the ability of
the CPO to raise money, money they claim they need to repay the loan from Chelsea FC, through
selling shares.
So it's back. The Premier League resumes its normal service of thrills and spills with Fulham,
Swansea and West Brom thrilling and Liverpool, Norwich and QPR spilling. The annual analysis of
who's going to challenge for the title and who's going to be relegated, based on just 90 minutes of
football, has already begun.
On Saturday, the OTWT Tailgating Crew traveled to Baltimore to take in the preseason friendly
between Spurs and Liverpool. The game was terrible but the stadium is amazing.Alan Shearer has more
Premier League titles than Steven Gerrard
A life size picture of former Rutgers star Ray Rice. Loved watching him college as a Rutgers season

A provocative headline designed to grab your attention? Yes, guilty but I believe there is a
quite a lot of truth in it.
The change of direction that I am talking about is reflected in the kind of player that Podolski
and Giroud are. These footballers are big powerful no nonsense types, they signal a change in
style, perhaps even a return to the days when Arsenal fielded big strong powerful teams which
included the likes of Vieira, Petit, Adams, Bould and Campbell; when those players took to the
field the opposition were scared.

Former Liverpool managing director Christian Purslow has revealed the Reds were one day away from
administration before the takeover of current owners Fenway Sports Group.
Purslow, a Liverpool season ticket holder, negotiated the sale to Fenway chief John W Henry and has
cautioned criticism of that regime's first year and a half in charge at Anfield.
Another case of a football club being run poorly, with Norwich City calling in the police after
a 17 year old season-ticket holder leaked pictures of the clubs new kit on the Internet prior to
its launch.
Chris Brown managed to obtain pictures of Norwich's latest kit, which, by the way, is still
yellow and green (surprise surprise.
When former Scunthorpe United boss Nigel Adkins was confirmed as the new manager at then League 1
Southampton, eyebrows were raised amongst the St Mary's faithful. Eighteen months later and
Southampton are looking to win back-to-back promotions, with Adkins' managerial record for the
2010-11 season bettered only by Sir Alex Ferguson.
For those of you following the story of Paul McGeady; our ex-season ticket holder, here's the final

holder and maintain a website covering the Dynamo at www.

To all officials, boards and directors of the Scottish Football League and its member clubs,
I wish to make known the strength of my opposition to any arrangement which would see a reformed
Rangers parachuted into the second tier of Scottish football. Not only would this be wrong in its
own terms, but any hasty reorganisation of the league structure that might be pushed through to
allow a solution to a short-term problem would be a grave error.
Fans of Italian club Parma have been recognised in a unique way by their club, after it was
announced the name of every season ticket holder will be sewn into their new shirt.
Norwich City saw fit to call in the police the actual bloody police after a 17-year old fan
leaked photos of the club's new kit online on Tuesday night, the day before it was due to be
officially unveiled.
Norfolk Police were called in after IT student Chris Brown slapped a few images of the Norwich
2012/13 kit (here's a hint: it's yellow) on his Twitter account after lifting them from a corner of
the club's official website that was still under construction.
Wednesday morning I had the opportunity to sit down with Brian Baxter, a sports psychologist
from Sports Psychology Institute Northwest (SPINw) [check them out at www.spinw.com]. We talked at
length about the Timbers. Brian is a Portland Timbers season ticket holder, a soccer coach, holds
soccer camps every summer [see www.
The chant ‘Urbs in Horto Magico' is a favorite among the Fire fan base. Its powerful words and
upbeat tempo help make it a consistent selection from the organized chaos of the capo stand at
Toyota Park. Opposing fans have likely heard Urbs in Horto Magico from the Fire faithful too. As
the last line declares, "For the Fire we will travel anywhere".
The public are comfortable with Harry Redknapp. His rumpled, down-to-earth persona harks back to
a bygone era before football became a commercial monster, evoking soft fuzzy Sunday evening
television images of a time when society was less complicated and life was better. With Harry, like
him or not, you know where you are.
