The KCW Juniors U-16 and U-18 teams will play their first-ever U.S. Soccer Development Academy
matches over the weekend. Both teams face Texas Rush AJ Auxerre Saturday and Texas SC DTH Sunday in
the suburbs outside of Houston, Texas. Kansas City Wizards ownership group OnGoal created the
Juniors program in 2007 as part of the MLS youth development initiative.

Championships.
In the boys division only one team advanced to the semifinals and that was the U-19 Valley

Another large turn out for what initially appeared to be a beautiful early Spring weekend that
by 12:30 pm Sunday, when this photo was taken, had turned into a bitter cold tundra by many
accounts. I try to remind myself during these moments that as much as I loved the game, my playing
days in Chicago and St Louis more closely resembled these type of days than any other.
