For U.S. head coach Jurgen Klinsmann, one of the key components to the holistic approach to player
development is providing nutrition education. Years and years of scientific study have proven that
proper nutrition leads to better performance. During the training camp in Phoenix, the U.S MNT
received instruction and advice from Danielle LaFata, the Director of Performance Nutrition at
Athletes' Performance.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as
space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between
science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his
knowledge.

According to pure economics, Manchester United will reclaim the Premiership championship this

Please take a moment from your hectic schedules to check in on Bolton Wanderers' star Stuart
Holden, who is trapped at home while recovering from a knee injury that put him out of the game for
six months.
For nice, well brought up Kickettes, it's an opportunity to marvel at the science Stuart is
harnessing to coax his scrummy leg back to it's former glory.
The energy demands of training and match play can be tremendous. Running, sprinting, cutting,
turning, and jumping all add to the energy cost of soccer. In fact, studies show that a soccer
match requires more total energy than almost any other sport. At the Science of Soccer Online, we
have stressed the need for players to eat a solid diet.
The Science of Soccer Online is pleased to introduce our new online bookstore. In the bookstore you
will find our books for purchase as well as free "extras" for download that use the latest in
scientific research to help players improve their game. Be sure to check back often for updates and
new releases.
Right chaps, I've got some info that's going to make your day. Have you ever worried about your
testosterone levels? Well, I've been doing some research on all of your behalfs and there are some
very simple ways for you to make sure you never have to worry ..........
What actually happened was, having been banging on about the perceived 'lack of testosterone' on
show from our team I went delving into the depths of male hormones on the internet to see what I
could discover.
Ahem. Excuse us for a moment. We just need to save this to the Kickette hard drive for closer
examination later. All in the name of science, you understand. (Getty Images/Zimbio)
Seeking solace in the arms of a buff bloke is an extremely popular way to deal with bad news
here at Kickette. In fact, we actively encourage the practice, both for ourselves and between men,
although the latter is largely to satisfy our slightly odd and potent lust.
