Apparently I'm "soccer historian," which I'll take. Though there are others (like Colin
Jose, Dave Litterer, Roger Allaway and Steve Holroyd).
Anyway, Milwaukee Wave head coach Keith Tozer won his 700th indoor game Sunday
as the Wave beat Rochester 26-10.
By 1970's Gooner Savic is a young 21 year old Manchester City centre back. He has been a starter
for his team in recent games because the first team choice centre backs Kolo Toure (Afica Cup of
Nations) and Kompany (red card) are unavailable. The young lad has looked out of sorts. His
mistakes are costing Manchester City.
Craig Bellamy once again starred for Liverpool as they booked their place in the League Cup
final with a 2-2 draw against Manchester City. This resulted in Liverpool winning the semi-final
3-2 on aggregate.
Liverpool were the dominant team in the second leg of the semi-final and if it wasn't for the
heroics of Joe Hart Liverpool could quiet easily run away with the game.

Yes, again.

With so much grief given out to our esteemed manager during pre season, and with another
transfer window just around the corner, I thought it might be a good time to see how Wenger's
apparent 'panic buys' have compared to the big money signings of some of our closest league
rivals.

This is a tough one to call. Arsenal are very strong at home in the Carling Cup the last eight
games ending in wins with a cumulative score of 23-3. On the other hand, City are probably the only
club that can put out a second-string side that would not look far out of place in the
Premiership.
For the visitors, Dzeko, Adam Johnson, Nigel De Jong, Kolo Toure, Kolarov, Zabaleta, Savic, and
even Hargreaves might get a start.
Squad sheets: Liverpool v Manchester City
It should be harder for Liverpool and virtually every other club in England to keep pace with
Manchester City. Nonetheless, Roberto Mancini's side can be in no doubt about the hunger they
inspire in the opposition. City, indeed, are in trouble in the Champions League now because Napoli
rose to the occasion on Tuesday.

Guess at a line-up:
Reina
Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique
Lucas Adam
Kuyt Henderson Maxi
Suarez
Still basking in the afterglow of last Sunday's victory, it's ever so tempting to suggest Liverpool
should play the exact same line-up as against Chelsea.

Man City complete deal for Savic from Partizan - ESPN Soccernet Savic, a center back with the speed
and athleticism to play right back, is only 20 and would seem to be one for the future. That being
said, the only players between him and first team spot are Kompany, Lescott, Toure (when not
banned), Boyata, Richards, Boateng and Zabaleta.

The first day of the Chad Ochocinco era in Kansas City wasn't exactly a smashing success.
The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver acknowledged he was behind the pace Wednesday as he began
his trial with Sporting Kansas City, telling reporters, "The only thing I'm probably good at is
just being fast as hell.
