Mix Diskerud may not have been called into the U.S. men's national team for its upcoming
friendly against Mexico, but he's making quite the case for himself to get the call in
September.
Diskerud continued his strong season with Stabaek IF on Friday, hitting the equalizing goal in
the club's 2-1 victory over Fredrikstad.

It was a good weekend for the leaders of Europe's top five leagues. Each of the table-topping
clubs either maintained or extended its lead with a victory this weekend, and no club helped itself
more than AC Milan.
The Rossoneri asserted their dominance over derby rivals Inter in less than a minute with the
first of Alexandre Pato's two goals in the match, and even though the visitors had their chances to
pull back into the game, Milan was able to pull off a convincing 3-0 win.
Non-league Crawley's trip to Manchester United has captured the imagination, with a battle between
two Red Devils at Old Trafford set to take centre stage. Elsewhere on Saturday, League One leaders
Brighton will be looking to book their place in the quarter-finals at the expense of Premier League
outfit Stoke.
