Davy Arnaud's goal was his 40th goal in MLS play, he's the 43rd player in MLS history to hit that mark.

A little delayed from the write up today due to the World Cup final being on, but here is this week's Sunday after stats.
Michael Harrington played his 100th league game for the Wizards. He's the 20th player to hit that mark as a Wizards player.
In the 21st minute, Harrington moved past Kevin Hartman and into 20th place on the list of most minutes in all competitions for the Wizards, Harrington finished the game with 9100 minutes played. Click to continue reading...

The 2010 KC Wizards have 12 points through 13 games. If you count shootouts as draws, the 1999 Wizards (the worse team in club history) had 12 points through 13 games as well.
Jimmy Conrad made his 300th start in all competitions in his MLS career.

In the 78th minute of the game today, Jimmy Conrad moved past Chris Klein for the number of league minutes played for the Wizards. Conrad finished the game with 16394 minutes played for KC.

This picture, by Jamie Squire of Getty Images, says it all. Wizards celebrating in front of the hometown fans. Holy cow that was fun. Ryan Smith is an impact player. Jimmy Nielsen pitched his first MLS shutout in his first MLS game. Tonight marked our best-ever margin of victory in a home opener, and was the first time four different players scored goals since April 14, 2007 when we beat United 4-2 at RFK in Onalfo's first game as our coach. Chivas USA midfielder Sasha Victorine has announced he will be taking a job with the Kansas City Wizards front office, ending his playing career after ten seasons. Victorine retired as a member of Chivas USA. "I'd like to thank all of my teammates that I've played with over the years, and all of the fans who have given me their support," Victorine said. You've probably already seen or heard by now, but every Kansas City Wizards MLS game will be broadcast live in HD on KCWE Channel 29 in 2010. Each game will also feature a 30-minute pregame and 30-minute postgame show, giving a full 3-hour broadcast window on KCWE and KCWEHD. Goodbye to 4 Wizards

Kevin Hartman, Claudio Lopez, Kurt Morsink, and Kevin Souter all aren't going to be back for KC this season. I haven't done my regular stat tribute to Hartman so I'm combining his with Lopez, Morsink, and Souter.

Time to start updating some of my stat stuff that I've gotten into posting in January. Starting it off is the Wizards top league scorers through the 2009 season.
For reference, here are the previous years of the list.
1996 - 1997 - 1998 - 1999 - 2000 - 2001 - 2002 - 2003 - 2004 - 2005 - 2006 - 2007 - 2008
