San Jose Earthquakes 3 - Los Angeles Galaxy 2

Before I get into the guts of this post, which will be short anyway, I just want to say that I do not consider myself to be a tactical or analytic genius when it comes to futbol. I expect much of what I say will be up for debate and that people will feel free to tell me when they think I'm a raging idiot in the comments.

Game Day #14

Greetings from the Press Box at warm Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas. The heat isn't oppressive, but it's pretty hot. Players' individual fitness will likely play a part in the match. MLS Players Remind Saragosa that this is No Place for Divers

If you were able to catch the second half of the Houston Dynamo v. FC Dallas Thursday night (27 June); besides tuning in to a very physical match with both teams playing for keeps, you also may have noticed something else quite interesting.
The Dynamo's favorite Canadian, Dwayne De Rosario, was running across field and was being hounded. Click to continue reading...

With a recent loss to in-state rival and defending MLS Champions Houston Dynamo, the FC Dallas front office made a move today to hope to push ahead of Houston and the rest of the league in hopes of winning the league crown this season. The Hoops have finally landed Brazilian play-maker Denilson today. A month ago [...] Click to continue reading...
