Getting to know: Toluca

Behind the Badge 19 October @ 04:04 PM EST

United plays the final match of the Champions League group stage tomorrow at Toluca, Mexico. A win would give the Black-and-Red a berth in the quarterfinal round of the tournament. This, however, will prove to be a difficult feat, since United already lost at home to Toluca 3-1 and no U.S. team has ever won a meaningful game in Mexico.

Can MLS Advance to the Champions League Knockout Stage?

MLS Debris 09 October @ 09:35 PM EST
With one round to go in the group stage, all three remaining MLS teams still have a chance to advance. In my eyes, one is a shoe-in, one is a tossup and one needs a well-placed outbreak of swine flu among their rivals to advance.

It is time to give up on this season and start to look at changes for next season. The first 2 changes are find a new goalkeeper and a new head coach. Josh Wicks is looking at a suspension by the US Soccer Federation from his actions during the US Open Cup final.
