The US isn't exactly known for its soccer fans but with the World Cup last year viewership is on
the rise. Even though you may have a www.direct.tv satellite package that gets you all the games at
home you might want to venture out to one of the country's best soccer pubs if any are nearby. Here
are three of our favorites.
Dallas Cowboys fans hold their breath whenever Dez Bryant is returning a punt. Not only because
he has a chance to return any punt for a touchdown but also because there's more of a chance that
he could get injured. In Week 1 of the 2011 NFL season, the downside already came into light when
Bryant suffered a bruised quad.
In an August that saw several MLS players enjoy outstanding months, no player had has strong a
showing as Mauro Rosales.
The Seattle Sounders playmaker was the driving force behind a stellar month for the Sounders,
which finished an incredible 7-0-1 in all competitions in August.
Rosales was a key figure behind several of the wins.

If there was ever to a match to take a guest to, this would be it. Due to the Away Goal
tie-breaker, the better team being down a man, and a couple of San Francisco FC's players not
making the trip due to visa issues this should be a run and gun soccer festival. Seattle must win
be two goals, while to avoid overtime SFFC wants a single goal (overtime can only happen with a
1-nil Seattle Sounders regulation lead).
It's been a pretty crappy week for the Sounders, with a disappointing 1-0 loss to San Francisco
in Panama City followed up by a really disappointing 3-1 loss to the Dynamo in Houston.
No one's panicking just yet, but people are definitely concerned. Today we'll talk about those
concerns and come to the conclusion that no one should head for any bridges yet, but pinpoint the
exact moment when that might be the best course of action.

"Although my favorite MLS team has always been the Metros (Red Bulls), the team closest to my
heart was the California Victory, a USL team that played in San Francisco in the second division of
soccer for one season in 2007. I was part of the 1906 Supporters, the Victory's fan group and I
always remembered the Portland Timber's fans that came down that year to support their team for a
league game.
It is expected that the Seattle Sounders get past San Francisco in the preliminary stage and
they probably step forward as second favorites. The group isn't too strong, but what could
determine Seattle's fate though is how they perform in the next few months in MLS. If, like last
