The U.S. Men's National Team's busy summer is ready to get a little busier as word has emerged that the team is set to return to San Diego for the first time since 2006.
The San Diego Union-Tribune is reporting that the U.S. will face Guatemala on July 5th at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego in the team's final tune-up match before the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
With Club Tijuana in the Liga Mx final against Tolcua, it marks another milestone of a club's rapid ascendancy towards becoming one of the best teams in North America.
Club Tijuana, commonly referred to as Xolos, was founded in 2007 by Jorge Hank Rhon who is the former president of the municipality of Tijuana and is the owner of Caliente, Mexico's largest sports betting company.

The USA's second training in Scotland was conducted under some bright sunshine (well, for part of
the training) and the warm weather put folks in a nice mood. Maybe that was part of the reason why
the USA had a really high level training, or perhaps the team is just getting sharper as the first
game of the Olympics approaches.
The U.S. WNT trained for just three days in Utah before facing Canada on Saturday, June 30 at Rio
Tinto Stadium. Kick-off is at Noon MT live on NBC with a 30-minute pre-game show starting at 11:3o
a.m. MT.
Two of those trainings were at the Real Salt Lake training field and thanks to those folks from the
club for the use of the pitch, which was in fantastic shape.
