Scottish Second Divsion side Brechin City's match with St. Mirren in the fourth round of the
Scottish Cup today has been postponed due to frozen pitch.
29-year-old forward Charlie King and his teammates are looking forward to
tomorrow's fourth-round match against Scottish Premier League side Saint Mirren. "The whole
club is really looking forward to what should be a cracking cup-tie." King, who has been
with the Scottish Second Division outfit since 2001, continued, "The fourth round of the
Scottish Cup is always an eagerly anticipated day for players and it is great to be involved and to
get the chance to play against an SPL side.
Away-side Saint Mirren advanced at The Glebe as the club defeated Brechin City 3-1 in Scottish Cup
action. Goals from Hamilton (25' and 70') and Wyness (48') were
enough to overpower the Second Division side. City did find the score sheet on a goal from
Neil Janczyk in the 46th minute.
