The Fake Sigi Schmid Blog 30 October @ 12:41 PM EST
USWNT beats Germany in Germany. From Melissa:
The crazy phsychic voodoo communication between Solo and Chalupny can probably be attributed to their season together with the Saint Louis Athletica. It was a bit eerie at times.

Saint Louis Athletica downs Los Angeles Sol 1-0

Pretty Tough » Soccer 08 July @ 06:55 PM EST

Despite the loss, the Sol remain in first place the WPS standings at 11-2-4 (37 points), while the Athletica tighten their grasp on second with a 23 points and 7-5-2 record.

It could happen, although it will take a combination of results from other games this weekend.

Perhaps more interesting is the Sol gamble about the timing of its final regular season game: essentially the club is betting it will draw more kids looking for something to do now school is out at noon on a summer Wednesday after a holiday weekend than fans at a midweek evening game.
