FC Porto opened Week 9 in the Superliga (Liga Sagres) with a draw against Belenenses. The teams
battled to a scoreless first half before the visitors opened the scoring when striker Lima scored
early in the second half when he slipped the ball past Helton. Ernesto Farias then replied for
Porto in the 64th minute when he volleyed the ball over the Belenenses' keeper.

FC Porto striker Hulk has earned his first ever call-up to the Brazilian national team.
Brazilian manager Dunga gave the striker a call-up for next month's friendlies against England and
Oman.
Hulk will be lining up against some of Brazil's brightest stars when he makes his international
debut, as his fellow strikers will be Manchester City's Robinho, Villareal's Nilmar, and
Confederations Cup sensation Luis Fabiano of Sevilla.

Belenenses and Olhanense opened Week 8 of the Superliga (Liga Sagres) with a scoreless draw. The

Vietnam's national football coach said on Monday that he was very pleased with the debut
performance of Vietnamese football ace Le Cong Vinh in round seven of Portugal's premier league on
Sunday.
Vinh, who signed a four-month contract with Liga Sagres club Leixoes in August, played the full 90
minutes in his side's 3-2 home win over Leiria.

Guimaraes. Leixoes picked up their first victory of the season on the 3-1 win. Laranjeiro on a PK,

Belenenses brought the game to a draw in the second half on a goal by Yontcha but a brace by Hugo

tournaments? I'm talking about some of Europe's domestic leagues and two UEFA club competitions.
Why do they have to have these fancy names like Premiership and Europa League? They should just
stick with a name that is simple and that tells you what the competition is.
