We are all still in shock at Sir Alex Ferguson's decision to announce his retirement at the end of this season, and there's not much more we can do here to tell the story of the greatest manager in ... Continue reading →
Sir Alex Ferguson says Dimitar Berbatov has not been unfairly treated by Manchester United and
that he expects the striker to be part of United's upcoming re-season tour.
Berbatov was United's fourth striker last season behind Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Javier
Hernandez and has said that he feels that his future is away from Old Trafford.

There is a belief that today will have a big impact on how the season will develop for Arsenal, I understand why but do not agree. This is just a 3 point away game same as any other. Yes, MC are Champions and rivals and one could say this is a 6 pointer but we have seen teams win the title whilst losing to their direct opposition; consistency is the key to winning the title, ask SAF.

Dutch striker Robin van Persie today completed his move to Manchester United in a four-year
deal, worth a reported £12million-a-year saying it was an "honor" to sign with the club.
"I am looking forward to following in the footsteps of so many great strikers, bringing my
experience and playing my part to help the team compete for the biggest trophies in the game.
When the details about the latest version of the Glazers IPO came out earlier this week, one
part that struck United fans was the plan to issue 16m shares (about £288 million) to Manchester
United Senior Management under a "2012 Equity Incentive Award Plan". It was widely assumed that
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson would be included as part of the senior management group that
benefited from this.
Sir Alex Ferguson predicted Wigan could beat Arsenal.
They've got to get a goal, of course, but if they do they'll beat Arsenal. They are playing
really well. They should easily be in the middle of the table, rather than down at the bottom, but
at times they can't get a goal. If we had been playing any other team but Wigan the other night, we
would have been all right because it is unusual for a team to keep possession against us the way
they did.

What a game in store for us this afternoon. As was said earlier this week a barometer game. A
resurgent Sunderland looking to continue their very surprising run against an Arsenal team
confident as a result of last week's big win.
And yet, in my opinion both appear to be skating on thin ice.
Manchester United are on something of a roll this season. Having despatched ‘top' sides
Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea and scoring an astonishing fourteen goals against them in the process,
the current incarnation of United looks absolutely irresistible. The remarkable thing is that on
paper they look significantly weaker than in previous seasons.

August 28th, 2011.  A day that will live in infamy.....for Arsenal fans at least.  But more
importantly, a day where two long time rivals met at the crossroads of their careers do establish
their paths for the future. Â "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" as the song goes, truly is an apt title for
what took place at Old Trafford [.
The eighth-time S.League champions will be renamed as Warriors Football Club, as announced during the club's outreach program held in this afternoon at Lot One Shopping Center in Choa Chu Kang.
