Pumas UNAM didn't put forth a great performance on Sunday, but goals from former Chivas USA standout Francisco Palencia and Javier Cortes proved the difference, as Guillermo Vasquez's side claimed the Clausura title with a 2-1 victory over Morelia.

Pumas de la UNAM consiguió el séptimo título en su historia al vencer con un soberbio gol de Javier Cortés 2-1 (global 3-2) a Morelia, en dramático partido de vuelta de la final del Torneo Clausura 2011 del futbol mexicano, disputado en el estadio Olímpico Universitario.

Francisco Palencia adelantó a los de casa por la vía penal, al minuto 15, en tanto que Cortés marcó el del campeonato, al 77.
