New York City FC and Sporting KC are set to address areas of needs by swapping a pair of 2015 first round picks.

Sources tell SBI that NYCFC is set to send Khiry Shelton to Sporting KC in exchange for fullback Saad Abdul-Salaam.

Shelton was originally drafted by NYCFC second overall in 2015, serving as the club's first ever draft pick.

Juliao confirmed the move himself with a Twitter post last night announcing that he was back. Sporting Address Needs in SuperDraft

With four picks in the first two rounds of today's MLS SuperDraft, Sporting KC had plenty of opportunity to address some needs for the team heading into the 2015 season. With all four of the picks KC was able to address needs on the wing, at wing back and in the defensive midfield position. They were also able to get three of the four players that they wanted in the draft, the fourth being Nick Besler who went to Portland with the fifth pick.

Sporting KC Loan Update - Kempin Gives Up Golazo

After a weekend off for both teams with Sporting KC players on loan, they both came back to play this past weekend.

For Jon Kempin and Saad Abdul-Salaam, it was a big let down of a game. Like Sporting KC, the San Antonio Scorpions gave up a late winner to Indy Eleven to lose 2-1. The Indy winner, scored in the 89th minute was a 40 yard strike after a long free kick was headed back into the path of Sergio Pena, who brought the ball down and fired a shot that looped over Jon Kempin and into the net.
