Ryo Miyaichi has been an Arsenal player for over two years now, but he is still waiting to make his Premier League debut for the club. The 20-year old is well on the road to recovery after picking up an ankle injury during his recent loan spell at Wigan Athletic. The Japanese international is hoping to be fit enough to take part in the pre-season training and tours with Arsenal and finally force himself into first team contention.
If Arsenal had to recall all their young players back from their loaned clubs, the Gunners would be able to compile a very strong team. Probably one that could compete in the top half of the table. So, if its one thing Arsenal don't lack, it's talented youths. One such player who is currently out on loan and is an exciting prospect for the very near future is Ryo Miyaichi.
Loan Watch Benik Afobe at Bolton by AM Benik Afobe, who was loaned out to Bolton at the start of
this month, has said that Jack Wilshere and Ryo Miyaichi's experience at Bolton helped him make his
decision to switch with ease. In an interview Afobe said – "I spoke to both Jack Wilshere [...]
Wigan Set To Sign Arsenal Winger by AH Wigan Athletic have reportedly made a bid for Arsenal's Ryo
Miyaichi on a season long loan deal. The move for the Japanese winger was confirmed by Wigan's
goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi on the social networking site Twitter. The translated text from Al Habsi's
Twitter page said; "I [.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed that the fitness concerns that bothered winger Ryo
Miyaichi during the club's pre-season tour of Asia will keep the youngster away from full fitness
for at least a few more weeks.
The 19-year old Miyaichi, who is a Japan international was unable to prove himself ready for the
Gunners' 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in Beijing and despite returning for yesterday's 2-2 draw to
Kitchee, he looked a bit rusty.
About time we get to enjoy this tour from the spectator standpoint
Hello and hope you're having a good day. Olympics, if that's your thing but if not, there's some
Arsenal today as well. That's in a little less than 3 hours now. Arsene Wenger will rather be more
focused on the match than the constant questioning over a Dutchman.
Success is what we want from the game, money is just something that comes along with it
The second day started (for me at least) at SMK Seksyen 11 where Nike held an event at that
school. Nike arranged for a surprised Arsenal visit to their school after they emerged victorious
with the highest number of points scored in the interschool challenge.
It surprised many football fans when 21-year-olf Ryo Miyaichi's name was left off of the roster
when Japan's Olympic team was announced, especially since he was named to the Japanese national
team in May. The Olympics, with their 23-year-old age limit, seem to be tailor made for somebody
like him.
Arsenal winger Ryo Miyaichi is thrilled to see compatriot Shinji Kagawa close in on a move to
Manchester United this summer.
Miyaichi, 19, arrived in North London last summer but spent loan spells at Feyenoord and Bolton
as he needs time to transition into playing regular football for the Gunners.
Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain believes that if club captain
Robin van Persie is sold in the upcoming transfer window, then goal scoring would
become a major problem for the Gunners.
Moreover, the former Southampton starlet told The Sun that van Persie is a major
presence at the club and his departure would leave a massive leadership hole in the Arsenal
dressing room.
There's usually a lot of sizzle and no steak when it comes to offseason football rumours, but
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger does have some actual decisions to make concerning the club's roster
for next season. As most fans have probably heard by now, Chelsea has more or less given Wenger an
ultimatum regarding on-loan midfielder Yossi Benayoun.
The Bolton manager Owen Coyle did a great job with Jack Wilshere when he spent six months on loan
the season before last, and if anything he is even more excited about this seasons Arsenal loanee
Ryo Miyaichi. The skinny Japanese winger won Bolton's Player-of-the-Month trophy after just three
games, and Coyle thinks that Miyaichi [.
Bolton's loan signing from Arsenal, 19 year old Ryo Miyaichi shows spades of speed down the
left. Wenger now has a stable of pacey wingers on both flanks. Walcott, the Ox, the Forehead, and
Miyaichi. But can we resurrect the good old days of Roberto Pires and Marc Overmars?
Andrey Arshavin has moved back to Zenit on loan and that means £80,000 off the wage bill.
That's if the list of wages Arsenalinsider has been sent is to be believed.
The bulging paypackets for players such as Sebastien Squillaci (£60,000-a-week) and Abou Diaby
(£50,000) are astonishing as are the huge amounts being paid to backroom staff.
The young Japanese star Ryo Miyaichi is enjoying his loan period at Bolton, and after being denied
a goal on his 45 minute debut last week, the Arsenal loanee promised that he would score in the
next game he played. The 18 year-old kept his promise with a brilliant individual effort for Bolton
early on [.
Arsenal's young Japanese maestro Ryo Miyaichi came on for his first Premier League debut for Bolton
today. He played amazingly but I'll talk about that later. Let me give a bit of background
information behind the Gunners latest prodigy. He was signed last January after a successful trial
at Arsenal during the summer of 2010.
Still warm and cuddly after Sunday but a midweek trip to a freezing Lancashire is not what was
wanted, particularly to a Lancashire team who are in the process of turning their season
around.
The recent beatings of both Liverpool teams is evidence of Bolton's turnaround.
Add in the Cup win over Swansea and we can see tonight's game will be a challenge.

Arsenal's newest midfielder Thomas Eisfeld has made it known that he is proud to be chosen as a
Gunner, particularly as he aims to strike a partnership with Tomas Rosicky a man he grew up
watching at Borussia Dortmund.
The 19-year old Eisfeld arrived from Dortmund yesterday to complete his move to North London
ahead of the transfer deadline and after being unveiled, the youngster pledged to make both his
current and former club proud.
Summer 2012 needs to see a change in direction in Arsenal's transfer policy. Out must go this
incessant desire to collect 15-16 year olds from around the world and expect and hope that they
will develop.
Arsenal have many youngsters in the reserves or on loan for whom the time is ripe for them to be
given their chance.
I was speaking to an old friend recently, who is also a fan of the Arsenal, and he was pleading
the case for us to sign Gary Cahill in the January window. An idea which he seems to share with
many of his fellow Gooners (or so it seems looking at blog world!), and this got me thinking about
the current squad and the strengthening options open to Arsène come January 1st.
Arsenal winger Ryo Miyaichi is fully aware of the fact that his chance, as a regular, with the
Gunners, will probably not be this season. Speaking to Arsenal.com, the Japanese declared that his
focus at the ...
Feeling festive, Kickettes? No, it's a little to early for us too, but that doesn't mean we're
not open to the idea of footballers fooling around with presents on camera.
In this delightful clip released by Arsenal to promote their branded gift line, we get to see
Andrey Arshavin playing keepy-uppy in fluffy slippers, Tomas Rosicky impersonating a tramp and Ryo
Miyaichi staring at a watch.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain may have stolen the show with his first few performances for the Gunners,
in which he managed to net two excellently-taken goals. Having already been linked with a full
international call-up for England, the 18 year-old has a huge amount of pressure on him, especially
after his £15 million transfer fee from Southampton.
Arsenal winger Ryo Miyaichi confessed that the English language was not a major problem in London
although the accent of some was a surprise. Speaking to Arsenal's official website earlier this
month, the Japanese opted not ...
It's football day once again. Not something you would usually expect so soon, since Arsenal only
last played on Sunday. Seemed to remember reading somewhere that the FA asked if we are comfortable
with the schedule and we didn't say no. So, no point pondering over that now.
The news that Arsenal are going to be facing Nagoya Grampus this summer is not only welcome to Arsene Wenger, who managed the Japanese club for two years before his arrival at Arsenal, it is also a home-coming for our very own up-and-coming Ryo Miyaichi, who can't wat to play in front of his friends and family.
Arsenal are set to celebrate Christmas in style after the club's marketing department released a
super cool video starring a host of first team stars showing off the latest Arsenal gear. The likes
of Andrei Arshavin, Tomas Rosicky, Ryo Miyaichi, Tomas Vermaelen and Gunners legend Charlie George
all star in the short video which is [.

This morning sees the final game of the Asia tour as we take on Kitchee FC in Hong Kong. It
comes less than 48 hours after the Man City game and with the squad feeling the effects of all the
traveling I don't expect this to much more than a training game, to be honest.
We might see more time given to the younger/fringe members of the squad as the senior players
played most of the game on Friday and with, I'm sure, all due care and attention being paid to
their fitness the last thing we want to do is pick up silly injuries by asking too much of players
when there's still a good three weeks until the first game of the Premier League season.

In their first game since Fabrice Muamba collapsed at White Hart Lane, Bolton registered a vital
victory over fellow relegation candidates Blackburn at the Reebok.

Wild-haired defender David Luiz has also looked more suited to a midfield role than the centre
of a Premier League backline, and the Brazilian highlighted his silky skills to open the scoring
and set the Blues on their way to a much-needed victory.
Tim Ream returned to England earlier this week with all the necessary paperwork completed for
him to suit up for Bolton Wanderers, and he might not have to wait long at all to make his
debut.
Bolton manager Owen Coyle told reporters on Thursday morning that Ream, and two of the other
club's recent acquisitions, will be on the gameday squad that will take on Wigan Athletic in a
match with relegation implications on Saturday.
