Carlos Tevez has missed most of Man City's pre-season, because of an injury suffered when he
slipped in the shower.
The Argentinian, apparently lost his balance trying to get out of the shower and aggrevated a heel

That's what Russian fans are being told before they travel to Wales for next month's World Cup
qualifier.
"Welsh whisky is on offer to Russian supporters as a disinfectant," Alexander Shprygin,
head of the national team's fan club, said Monday. "This will relieve any symptoms."
Doctor's are telling fans to avoid the trip altogether, but Shprygin knows better.

Russian fans who probably don't need any excuse for drinking have been advised to down shots of
whiskey to ward off swine flu when they visit Wales next month for the World Cup qualifier.

Good news for pubs and bars in and around Cardiff. Russian football fans have been told to drink
whisky on their trip to Wales for next month's World Cup qualifier to ward off the virus, the head
of the country's supporter association (VOB) said today.
"We urge our fans to drink a lot of Welsh whisky as a form of disinfection," the VOB president,
Alexander Shprygin, said.
