That's what Russian fans are being told before they travel to Wales for next month's World Cup qualifier.

"Welsh whisky is on offer to Russian supporters as a disinfectant," Alexander Shprygin, head of the national team's fan club, said Monday. "This will relieve any symptoms."

Good news for pubs and bars in and around Cardiff. Russian football fans have been told to drink whisky on their trip to Wales for next month's World Cup qualifier to ward off the virus, the head of the country's supporter association (VOB) said today.
