TV3 in Barcelona is reporting on Thursday that club officials are interested in bringing
Manchester City's Robinho to the Camp Nou during the January transfer period. It is believed that
Joan Laporta will make an offer to Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed for the 25 year
old Brazilian to join Barcelona on loan with a buyout option at seasons end.

According to Sport.es Barcelona have become increasingly concerned about Carles Puyol
and Rafael Marquez contracts and have issued an ultimatum to the defensive pair. The two have been
exteremely loyal to Barcelona in the past but as January 1st approaches the players can begin to

According to news outlets in Spain, a deal has been reached between Arsenal and FC Barcelona for
the transfer of their captain Cesc Fabregas. The deal has a clause that if Arsenal were to not make
it to the Champions League group stage the 22 year old midfielder would come to the Camp Nou before
the transfer window closes at the end of August.

According to Goal.com according to the English website "a source close to Barcelona" is
reporting that a deal between FC Barcelona and Valencia has been reached for the transfer of David
Villa. No details of the agreement were given. As of now this is speculation as the team has not
confirmed this latest report but it does come one the heels of news that Laporta and Barcelona
officially made an offer to Valencia for the striker.

The talks between FC Barcelona and Valencia over the signing of David Villa have once again hit
another road block. On Monday it is believed that former Valencia president Vicente Soriano is set
to return to the helm replacing Manuel Llorente. The move will further delay negotiations between
the two teams and under new leadership Barcelona is unsure of Valencia's desire to move the Spanish
striker.
