According to The Metro, Inter Milan are planning on making an £8 million bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Aaron Lennon, as the 25-year-old has continued to impress this season in the Premier League.
The England international has been one of Tottenham's most consistent and reliable performers for Andre Villas-Boas this season, and it would be quite an upset at White Heart Lane if the speedster is to leave.

Although Arsenal have yet to make a splash in the January transfer window, recent developments indicate that the West Ham United man, Mohamed Diame would consider a move to the Emirates before the window closes.
A few days ago, the Senegalese international "spoke with the manager and told him I want to stay here [Upton Park].
"Every ending always brings a new beginning."

This line clearly matches with the world of
English football, where the end of the Premier League season brings the beginning of the summer.
The rumor mill is in overdrive and one can be assured of an exciting transfer window. Being one of
the biggest clubs in Europe, Manchester United has already been linked with a host of players that
could potentially be donning the Red Devils shirt next season.
Rumors are doing the rounds today both in papers and online that Liverpool are looking to
offload striker Andy Carroll, just one year after he was signed for a club record of £35million.
Personally I think this is just talk to feed the rumor mill.
Sure he hasn't lived up to his over inflated deadline day transfer just yet, but people need to
remember he is still only 23 and if it wasn't for a few great saves or the cross bar being a couple
of inches higher he would have an extra 3 or 4 goals this season and things wouldn't look all that
bad considering the minutes he has actually played.
We are only days from the opening of the January transfer window. The rumor mill has already
been spinning out of control over the past few weeks but, of course, as the new year approaches the
links with a Chelsea clearly in need of something special will reach new levels of absurdity.
So, with that being said, why not take the absurdity to new heights ourselves?
It appears this saga is intent to drag on for at least another two weeks. More after the
jump:
When Harry Met Luka
I've just about had it with this one. Despite Tottenham imperio Daniel Levy's claims that Modric
will be going, and I quote, "nowhere" this summer, the rumor mill continues to produce stories
about his exile from White Harte Lane.
The U.S. national team star will not play for the Cottagers in their upcoming showdown with
Manchester United, having been left out of the squad for Saturday's showdown.
The transfer rumor mill has gone very quiet on Dempsey, with a long-rumored move to Liverpool
looking less and less like a possibility by the day.
Clint Dempsey sounds like a man ready to tackle a new challenge.Â
Coming off the greatest season of his career and entering the final year of his contract with
Fulham, Dempsey opened up about his options and hopes for the upcoming transfer window in an
interview with Fox Soccer, and the message is pretty clear: While not outwardly saying a permanent
goodbye to Fulham, Dempsey is prepared for the bright lights of the UEFA Champions League and an
opportunity at a bigger club.
There has been a lot of talk recently about bringing the Fulham striker/winger Clint Dempsey to
Old Trafford. While I cannot argue that he is having a phenomenol season, I don't see this as a
viable option For Manchester United on many levels:
Too Much Competition For those of you touting Dempsey as a Red Devil,
consider what United actually NEEDS is creativity in the central midfield, not another goal
scorer.
A few Americans made moves in Europe ahead of the close of the summer transfer window, but some
of the bigger names being tossed around the rumor mill stayed put.
The major move to Arsenal never materialized for Clint Dempsey, who remains at Fulham. Jermaine
Jones is still out of favor at Schalke.
Quite the transfer market for our gunners huh!? Obviously by now we are all well aware of our
latest signing, Santi Cazorla from Malaga. To be perfectly honest, even though I had only heard of
the guy in passing prior to the rumor mill starting to turn, this most recent signing is the one
that excites me the most.
...aka Let's Not Talk About Lyon's Shitty Performance Against Bordeaux.
The transfer rumor mill has fired up. Word on the street is that Kim Kallstrom
secretly met with Rubin Kazan, who are offering to triple his salary. However, the €5m they
offered for him had Jean-Michel Aulas say "LOLZ, eff that.
If the Fire are unable to land a big name striker during the transfer window, it looks like they
have a backup option lined up. This report says the Fire have offered a contract to Peruvian
striker Andy Pando.
Pando, 28 years old, has spent his career bouncing around Peruvian clubs.
It looks like the Chicago Fire's preseason trialist known only as "Alex" may not be out of the
picture after all. A report out of Switzerland states that Brazilian attacking midfielder Alex de
Lima has signed a loan agreement with the Fire.
Chicago Fire Rumor Mill: Wilman Conde to New York Red Bulls?
Alexi Lalas is hearing a deal is in the works to bring Wilman Conde to the New York Red Bulls.
The Chicago Fire hold his MLS rights so New York would have to trade something to Chicago before
being allowed to sign him. What would you ask for?

The rumor mill was going in full motion last night on this deal and now it is official. Toronto
FC has sent Designated Player Julian de Guzman to FC Dallas in exchange for Generation adidas
midfielder/forward Andrew Wiedeman.

you'd slap a baby unicorn for... Do not be fooled by The Bruce Arena Show. His lips may be doing
the "Ohhh, of course we'd sign Messi if we could" routine, but I'm told training visitor and
near-constant MLS rumor mill resident Clarence Seedorf could actually spurn Botafogo to sign with
the L.
When Chivas USA defeated the rival Galaxy 1-0 on Saturday night, a few new faces donned their
signature Red & White.
This past Thursday, the club announced two deals, acquiring US international Juan Agudelo from
the Red Bulls and finally completing the Danny Califf trade with the Philadelphia Union, which had
been at the forefront of the rumor mill the few days prior to the trade.
The City of Chester has had income problems because of declining residential and commercial tax
bases, but now it may be angering the two major businesses that have come into the area.
Chester's government was discussing a pair of ordinances that, if enacted, would place a 10
percent tax on ticket sales and a 20 percent tax on parking.
The summer transfer season is in full swing now and the inevitable stories reporting deals that
are done, and not done, are underway. Among the subjects in the rumor mill is U.S. national team
midfielder Michael Bradley, who has been linked with multiple Italians clubs, most recently with
Roma.

Andre Villas-Boas came in to Chelsea last year under a wave of controversy but high
expectations.
There are a few common factors that can cause a footballer's potential transfer value to
skyrocket. Those characteristics include youth, while at the same time possessing a decent level of
experience, individual skill, soccer brains, attacking prowess and some those more nebulous
intangibles that draw fans to stadiums and televisions to see them play.
Two American strikers are drumming up some transfer buzz in Denmark.
According to multiple reports out of the country, Danish Superliga club AGF Aarhus is looking at
Charlie Davies and Chris Wondolowski as potential targets during the transfer window, which opens
Thursday and lasts through the end of the month.

Tim Ream's training stints with West Brom and Bolton are just that and nothing more.
Officially.
New York Red Bulls general manager Erik Soler made that much clear to reporters on Tuesday,
saying that Ream won't be transferred or loaned out despite what conflicting reports from overseas
might suggest.
The rumor mill continues this offseason and another new rumor regarding a potential player has
surfaced. Rumors out of Sweden is that Sporting KC has Swedish defender, Anton Hysen in their sites
as a potential target. From looking at a translation of the article, it appears though that the
Vancouver Whitecaps are the leaders in the race to get the 20 year old defender.
Well, as usual, we have "leaked" pictures of the new kit. Â And as usual, everyone is running
around...
trying to determine if this is the real kit or something some Photoshop hacker has dreamed up. Â
My first impression was to wonder if Sir Alex designed these himself from some ancient family
tartan pattern.

Philly native Dan Borislow continues to show he has absolutely no shame or class by pushing for
his Florida club to play friendlies this season while the rest of WPS had to cancel their season

As much as it had made the rounds in the transfer rumor mill over the last few months, it was of
surprise to no one when David de Gea officially signed on the dotted line last week to become
Manchester United's keeper of the present and future. With Edwin van der Sar hanging up his [...]
