Luís Figo garante que não pensa voltar a jogar, mas deixa a porta entreaberta perante o

Benfica have re-signed their striker and captain Nuno Gomes until 2011. Rui Costa had stated that
he would have Gomes signed before his contract was up and delivered. Nuno Gomes looks now to finish

So, it is now official. Kaka will play for Real Madrid next season. It wasn't really a transfer
saga, as it was concluded rather quickly, but it is without a doubt one of/if not the biggest
transfer of the summer. The fee isn't confirmed yet but it's speculated to be around 68 million

Rarer than that species: a winning English coach, is a sighting of Freddy Adu.
Fear not, Freddy is still in AS Monaco. Alive, just on the bench a lot.
He is most likely return to Benfica because it appears Monaco is not interested in buying him
out. So far he has logged 169 minutes of playing time in 11 appearances.

Rui Costa has been suspended for a month by the Disciplinary Commitee for his actions in Benfica's
3-2 victory over Martimo this past weekend. Rui Costa was also fined for entering/remaining in the
area of the field between the fences and the lines outside the field without authorization. Rui
Costa could have faced up to a year suspension for these actions
