The Sebastien Le Toux has taken another turn, as the striker is apparently once again available
to Bolton Wanderers if a bid is tabled.
The Bolton News is reporting that the Philadelphia Union are open to selling Le Toux to the
Wanderers, but only "for a fair price." Bolton has been rumored to be waiting for other transfers
to finalize before moving onto a transfer for Le Toux.
So, sitting here this afternoon thoroughly enjoying the Bundesliga back in action after an
interminable winter break, I have come across a series of stories that might just warm the hearts
of us Houston Dynamo supporters near and far.
First comes this excellent piece from Soccer America about Geoff Cameron in USMNT
camp.
It is overdue. It doesn't make sense, either. Sure, the argument is that 1 and 2 seeds don't often
make appearances together in the AFC, NFC championship games, but this is not the point.
There's nothing wrong with having 1 and 2 seeds play a first round game.
Soon to be heading in the same directionToronto FC got into the holiday shopping
mood on Tuesday with the acquisition of defender Jeremy Hall. The 23-year old Florida native
arrives from FC Dallas after previous MLS stops with Portland and New York. Primarily a right back,
Hall was the 11th overall pick in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft and provides The Reds with a little more
depth on the corners of their back line.
Sources in Italy have confirmed that Liverpool is interested in Bologna's attacking midfielder
Gaston Ramirez.
Indeed, the Reds are thought to have indicated that they would pay €10M to take the 20-year-old
to Anfield, though Bologna's cooperation in the matter cannot be assumed.
Ramirez has impressed in Serie A since landing at Bologna last summer, being brought to the
Rossoblu from Uruguayan outfit Penarol.

The Philly Soccer Page's photographer Nate Monahan had a tough first
assignment: Follow the Union to Chicago and show us what they look like on the road following a
tough home loss. Nate's photo essay shows an anxious side trying to find their identity with the
head coach missing and leading scorer gone.
In-depth analysis is probably not warranted after a pair of European friendlies that saw the
visitors in lame form. Everton mailed it in like a cereal box UPC for a free beanie and if you
looked at Real Madrid's second half formation from a blimp, it spells out "aburrido."
But let the follies of others take nothing away from a stouthearted, spirited and plucky (oh hey
thesaurus!
The two prized England Under 21 internationals Jordan Henderson and Phil Jones have recently
moved from their respective clubs to two North West giants separated by the East Lancs road. As
Liverpool were busy tying up a deal for Sunderland midfield all rounder Jordan Henderson,
Manchester United were seemingly busy beating other Premier League heavyweights, including Arsenal
and Tottenham Hotspur, to the signing of Blackburn Rovers defender Phil Jones.
When I was growing up my father was in the military, therefore we moved around quite a lot. In
the late 80s we lived in Germany and I went to a forces school alongside other British kids. As we
lived in a long forgotten era before the internet we were starved of any sort of British culture
(including football).
Klump this: Herculez Gomez now has three goals in his last 52 minutes of play for Pachuca. His
consolation keeper-rounder from Wednesday night ends this clip...- Greg Seltzer
The Philadelphia Union traded midfielder Andrew Jacobson to FC Dallas in exchange for a 2nd
round draft pick in 2013.
Jacobson started 13 games for the U in 2010, logging 18 shots, 8 on goal. He became extra parts
when The Union acquired Brian Carroll as their 18th center midfielder (kidding!

So many mocks out there, but here are only those from some of the major writers out there.
Listed for your previewing are the two above, the predicted Sounders pick, and the two below that.
Hopefully none of these names are new. Oh, and I've made some assumptions on our own Dizzo's work
to make his targets into a pseudo mock for these purposes.
While things are going to get most complicated for Zac MacGrath, who as a keeper has a history
to overcome before he can prove that he's worth a first round pick and getting starts in 2011,
General Managers around the league have the challenge of the internationals as well.
It seems that a few players are intriguing first round picks besides the stand GA guys.

The general consensus in this morning's national press is that Roy Hodgson may
just have taken charge of his final game at Liverpool, with Wednesday night's 3-1 defeat to
Blackburn proving to be the final nail in his proverbial coffin.
