So just a quick update before our Copa del Rey encounter.
World Soccer magazine has just awarded our very own DAVID VILLA best forward in the world.

Not that we didnt already know that. Villa has proven himself already this season with a
stunning 7 goals.
There is however rumours once again that Manchester United are after Villa and SIlva in a 40
million pound bid to take them in January.

So the stars have aligned and the weekend thus far has worked out beautifully for los Che to
move up int he table.
A win in Almeria and we move up to 5th place and within striking distance of the top 4.
These are a vital 3 points.
Now Valencia, truth be told should win this.

We're all for retro hair-dos, but we prefer such looks on females. In films. Or at retro fancy
dress parties. Or on female mannequins in fancy dress costume shops.
And yeah, the fabric on the shirt should have been left at the polyester yarn factory from
whence it came.

I am not quite sure how much of an audience an article about the German Bundesliga can get, but
I will still give it a shot. After all, if there is one league that has continued to offer an
air-tight title race throughout the year, it has to be the German first division. With two games to
go, as many as four teams have a realistic chance of being crowned champions.

While Manchester City's record breaking bid for Kaka wasn't enough to land the Brazilian
midfielder, City have been shown some encouraging signs. First, Blackburn's Roque Santa Cruz has
reiterated his desire to move to the Eastlands. After working under Mark Hughes at Blackburn, the
Paraguayan is hoping to link up with his former manager once again.

Following their FA Cup exit at the hands of Nottingham Forest, Manchester City have moved quickly
to improve the squad. Mark Hughes is on the verge of wrapping up yet another two January transfer
deals, this time bringing Scott Parker and Roque Santa Cruz to the City of Manchester Stadium. The
deal between Blackburn and Manchester City would send Roque Santa Cruz to City with Tal Ben-Haim
and £18 million heading towards Ewood Park.
