Sir Alex Ferguson has today claimed he can't wait to face AC Milan in the round of 16, after the
draw was made yesterday.
The manager reckons the impact of losing in Rome last year had on us will make us come back
stronger in this year's competition.

I despair. I really do.
Hopefully this fiasco and resultant stumble out of the top four will serve well as a reminder
that there's still plenty of work to do yet. Like Spurs, I've been guilty in the last couple of
weeks of being a soft touch; throwing away two goal leads on Merseyside, allowing Villa to escape
with a point, both sugar-coated by yours truly as lessons learnt and some kind of progress
made.

Michael Carrick will almost certainly start on Wednesday night as we take on CSKA Moscow in the
Luzhniki Stadium. Several players have been ruled out as unavailable but Carrick will be making the
trip to the stadium where we won the European Cup in 2008.

Even putting troubles related for his failures as Argentina's coach aside, Maradona really isn't
doing so great at the moment. For one, he's checked himself into a clinic in order to lose weight
(this, of course, after he's already had gastric bypass surgery). And as if that weren't
