Manchester United fans revised the Nicky Butt chant for Rodrigo Possebon as he started to shine
in League Cup performances last season.
The same has been done for Gabriel Obertan, particularly during his impressive display against
Barnsley, which has made him feel very welcome.
"I'm very proud of that," he told MUTV.

If reports in the Portuguese media are to be believed Rodrigo Possebon, who was loaned out to SC
Braga, has returned to Manchester. Google translate is not the best, but according to this link,
he's been axed because of a squad trimming exercise by the coach.
I also saw it mentioned on the United Youth site in its roundup of our loanees.

So, this is a bit belated, but it appears that Rodrigo Possebon has been loaned to Sporting
Braga. The Portuguese side finished fifth in the Liga Sagres (thereby qualifying for the Euro
League... or UEFA Cup... or whatever the hell it is that Arsenal will soon find themselves
competing in).
The young Brazilian featured primarily in Carling Cup matches last season, and had his playing
time further reduced by a rather nasty tackle from Boro's Emanuel Pogatetz.

Fraizer Campbell is the latest in line of the more prominent youngsters deemed not good enough
to make the grade at United. He was sold at £3.5m (which could potentially rise to £6m).
Financially, I think we sold him a bit on the cheap when Hull were prepared to offer up to £7m as
a one time fee.

In a week or two, United will be linked to several players a week, whilst a few of our players
will be reported to be moving away. Some of the rumours might turn out to be true, most won't, as
usual.
But are there any rumours which you would like to be true?
GK: Van der Sar - Ben Foster - Tomasz Kuszczak
RB: Wes Brown - Rafael - Gary Neville
CB: Rio Ferdinand - Jonny Evans
CB: Nemanja Vidic - John O'Shea
LB: Patrice Evra - Fabio
MF: Cristiano Ronaldo - Nani - Zoran Tosic
MF: Michael Carrick - Ryan Giggs - Anderson - Rodrigo Possebon
MF: Paul Scholes - Owen Hargreaves - Darron Gibson
MF: Darren Fletcher - Park Ji-Sung
ST: Wayne Rooney - Carlos Tevez
ST: Dimitar Berbatov - Federico Macheda
A team made entirely of our second string players would be a match for most teams in the
league, let alone if we were to throw one or two of the likes of Rooney or Ronaldo in the mix.

Pre-season games can often look like an exercise in going through the motions in preparation for
the real thing, and with United failing to sign any big names this summer many supporters will no
doubt be slightly frustrated at the club's inability to find a new striker.
It does seem a bit ridiculous that Fergie hasn't been able to get his man thus far given the
success of last season and money in the bank.
