Bob Lilley's 2017 roster is beginning to take shape.

Those returning players are: Midfielders Kenardo Forbes, Brandon Beresford, Michael Garzi, Ryan James, and Sofiane Tergou, defenders Wal Fall, Joe Farrell, Bradley Kamden, and goalkeepers Tomas Gomez and Dan Lynd.
Kenardo Forbes had another strong performance and Steevan dos Santos was involved in two goals as Rochester came out on top in a five-goal game. Neither team's defense looked nearly as good at their reputations suggested.

In 85+ degree heat on Saturday evening, the Rochester Rhinos hosted first-year team Bethlehem Steel FC.
Other than two late decisions, one of the youngest rosters fielded to date played a great game. Bethlehem Steel FC started what was their fifth different defensive pairing, this time with a different goalie, and still managed a respectable point on the road.
Not every bit of news coming from the Portland Timbers today is a block buster.
In addition to sending out Lucas Melano on loan, the Timbers also traded away the rights to 2015 second round draft pick Christian Volesky to Sporting Kansas City in exchange for SKC's natural fourth round draft pick, No.
Volesky's late first half strike was his eighth in six matches against FC Montreal while the early second half goal by Steevan dos Santos was his first in the run of play in USL this year. Rochester is now 6-0-0 all-time against FC Montreal.

The Boys in Neon came out flying but were quickly put into an early deficit after Christian Volesky scored from the spot in the sixth minute.
Like many great success stories in American soccer, the creation of Southie FC started with an idea among a couple of soccer-playing friends. In this instance, it was a pair of college teammates who weren't quite ready to give up playing the beautiful game after graduation.
Kenardo Forbes gave Rochester the lead in the 23rd minute and Ryan James doubled the advantage in the 60th before Craig Foster cut the deficit in half. The Rhinos held on late through a flurry of physical challenges to maintain a perfect home record.
