Guingamp will face FC Metz tonight in what is their first of three games in eight days.
Metz sit just two places and two points above Guingamp in the L2 table so a victory tonight
could see the 'red and blacks' leapfrog their opponents.
Guingamp have been poor away from home this season, after a win and a draw in the opening two

Usually I just include the goals of the week into the Serie A weekend round-up but as Roberto
stated in the comments this week there were just too many nice goals to only choose the 4 best

Due to Livorno's loss on Friday, Bari were mathematically promoted to Serie A and will return to
paradise after 8 long years of Serie B. The last time Bari were in Serie A they had players like
Antonio Cassano and Simone Perrotta on the books. This season they were expected to at least
contend for a play-off spot but nobody expected them to dominate Serie B.

of great Argentinian players to grace the pitches of Serie A can go on and on. And pretty soon we
might have to add another name to the list: Mauro Zarate. The 21 year old striker is on fire,
leading the Serie A scoring charts with 6 goals in the first 5 games and giving defenders
nightmares.
The best player of these early days of the calcio season is without a doubt Antonio Di Natale.
In the first day of the season Di Natale scored 2 wonderful goals vs. Palermo and yesterday he
saved Italy with 2 goals vs Cyprus. (That makes 9 goals in 22 appearances now for the Azzurri)
He was the surprise call-up to begin with. Everyone looked at Casiraghi's Olympic call-ups and
said with a puzzled look, "Rocchi?" (come on, you know you did it). Casiraghi gave his
explanation, saying the Lazio hitman was an experienced player, a model professional, and an
excellent addition to the Italy side who could score many goals in this Olympic games.
