As kids, we were promised a fruitful future in which robots would create a world of magnificent
splendor...before rising up and killing us all. Turns out we're still getting there.
This is a tiny little robot which can multitask. The contribution to society we find on YouTube
is "humming" the Olympiakos theme song while drawing the Olympiakos logo.
Nicolas Anelka will soon be playing professional soccer in China. This is surprising because
Nicolas Anelka is still a talented, effective soccer player who would help all but about 10 teams
in the world. This is not surprising because Nicolas Anelka is going to a place where they'll pay
him an exponent of a number it'd take me years to count to.

I'd say this makes Nicolas Anelka's move to the People's Republic pretty damn official, eh?
Sweet robot
Read more about the deal via the Shenhua official website.
The club says Anelka has agreed to a two-year deal with the Blue Devils. Rumor is he'll be on
something like £200-plus thousand per week over there ridiculous, but an impressive pull.

O-GENKI-DESKA, TOMODACHI?!! ("What's Up homies?!")
International footballing superstar, Lionel Messi has officially won the whole of
Japan over with his awkward 'Spanese' greetings to all football fans in the region. Ok, he
didn't exactly say that, but who cares?
Please remember that when switching on a hot robot, stand well back and be prepared to run like
hell if he wakes up grumpy. He looks fluffy enough here, but he could backfire at any moment.

Serbia national team captain, Nemanja Vidić, has announced his retirement from international
football, effective immediately.

Remember that vid we posted a few weeks ago featuring British magician Dynamo freaking Nemanja
Vidic out so badly with his playing card based trickery that the Hot Robot almost blew a
gasket?
Well, mesmerising footballers has become something of a hobby for the crafty conjurer and this
edition features him baffling the hell out of, among others, Jermain Defoe, Jermaine Jenas and
Bobby Zamora.
No hay mucha información acerca de como funciona ni quien lo configuro, pero en este vídeo se
puede observar que de verdad es muy efectivo.
Proximamente lo veremos en los tianguis de la ciudad a un modico precio para tu equipo
favorito.

For those not in the know, Dynamo is a remarkable magician from Bradford in England, famed for
scaring the crap out of A-list celebs including Robbie Williams and Tinie Tempah. Nemanja Vidic is
a defender with EPL champions Manchester United, famed for being a hot robot.
It's a USMNT spectacular this week as Amanda and Kirsten review the firing of Bob Bradley and
the appointment of Jurgen Klinsmann. They discuss the winners and losers with the coaching change
and pour one out for Jonathan Bornstein's national team career, after getting excited for the
possibilities for Stuart Holden and Baby Robot.
This Is Our Striker?
1. Watched the game at El Torito (hey it was taco Tuesday). An American fan,
who was surely several tequila shots deep, comes up to us around the 80th minute and says:
"This is embarrasing. I can get 11 of us in here to play better.
Patrice Evra signed a new deal with United after offers from top clubs all around Europe came in
for him.
Evra has revealed that it is his feeling for the club that kept him around.
"It was an important decision for myself. I love this club, everyone knows that," Evra
told the official site.

Yes, since our methods of attracting votes redefined the political scene the world over, we have
made it our business to keep a close eye on other sports media and their methods of gauging reader
opinion. Not because we feel we can learn anything from them, obviously, but it's always good to
keep abreast of what's going on outside our pinkly painted party pad.
It has been a long time in coming, but today sees the return of the Beautiful Groan podcast,
which I originally started in May last year as a weekly effort. It lasted just three episodes
before the season ended, and that, along with various other life changes that reduced my time,
meant the podcast faded away, waiting for ten months to be resurrected.

Ladies and gents, we're pleased to present Martin Vingaard for your Wednesday afternoon treat.
This great Dane is both tall and age-appropriate, so no need to internalise your guilty, pervtastic
feelings today.
We first salivated over Mr. Vingaard after seeing him emerge fresh-faced from the snoozefest
that was last week's Champions League tie between his team and Chelsea.
An unfiltered look at exactly what I was thinking during the 1-1 draw between the Chicago Fire
and FC Dallas.
On FC Dallas Right Back Jackson:
•Overwhelmingly active. Is he going to make it to halftime without being gassed? (5′)
•Seriously, this guy's heat map will be absurd.

Women's National Team and their upcoming schedule, which will take them to Portugal and
England.
Kickoff from Stamford Bridge at 16:00 GMT and 11:00 EST.

Amanda and Megan feature in this episode, as they discuss the latest developments with the US
Women's National Team and Major League Soccer. They get into an extended conversation about the
"silly season" and its impact on American players. We don't know much about the Turkish league, but
we're pretty sure that Freddy Adu is taking a step down, and not for the first time.
