It's been a while since I did one of these:
- That Beckham-to-Milan deal is finally finalized.
- Pepe Reina got a new Liverpool deal.
- City looking to loan out Robinho?
- Benni McCarthy wants out of Blackburn.
- New Roma contract for Totti?

At some point, i actually believed that he was destined to become Brazil's next biggest star
after Pele. However, it seems like things are not working out for Robinho.
Since moving to Europe in 2005, Robinho has had both good and bad times. I remember his debut
for Real Madrid like it was yesterday.

United have once again been linked with January moves for Valencia's star men, David Villa and
David Silva. The future of both Spanish Internationals was the focus of much media attention over
the summer with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool keeping tabs on the situation to name but a
few.
Valencia managed to hold on to their prized assets in the summer but as their financial troubles
show no sign of letting up, it looks increasingly likely they will lose one if not both in the
winter.

If Manchester City attacker Robinho's hidden desire is to play for Barcelona then he is not
doing a good job at keeping it a secret.
On Monday, Robinho told a Brazilian radio station he is happy with the interest Barcelona has

After the transfer of David Beckham to Major League Soccer (MLS) has had increased exposure and
interest from abroad. Many of the European players now view MLS as a realistic choice, especially
as they wind down their careers. The success of Freddie Ljungberg with the Seattle Sounders has
only increased the interest from European players.

From harbouring hopes of a return next week against Scunthorpe, it seems that Robinho is instead
set for another couple of weeks on the sidelines:
"He's had a little bit of a setback, and the likelihood is it will be another 10 to 14 days,"
confirmed Hughes.
"The area where the stress fracture is hasn't healed as quickly as we

"There is a possibility that Robi will be on the bench for Scunthorpe, but it might be a bit
soon and I don't like to throw players in before they've had games in training or in the

by the club's attempts to secure the signature of Manchester City forward cum winger Robinho, who

Barcelona have considered the prospect of involving Thierry Henry in the deal to get Manchester
City's Robinho over the line.
The Catalan giants are pushing for the Brazilian maestro to join them at the Nou Camp and may part
with former Arsenal superstar Henry to get their man.
Reports emanating from Spain suggest that Henry, along with captain Carles Puyol, are names being
bandied around to use to get Robinho if City require an exchange deal.

the club and predicted good things ahead this season - and echoes what I wrote earlier today:

majority of his comments are positive ones about Man City and what's happening here.

City would want to recoup their £32.

Reebok work-outs fresh from the box.

It wasn't the prettiest match in football history, nor was it supposed to be. Brazil had already
qualified and Venezuela had almost no chances of qualifying (unless they beat Brazil 6-0 and
Argentina beat Uruguay 9-0!), so it was what it was. Dunga did some experimenting and some things
are definitely clear: Robinho should never come back, neither should Filipe Luiz, who plays
anything but good football.
