Montreal Impact lost to Argentina's River Plate 2-1 last night in over-time. River Plate
remained undefeated on their Canadian tour. They played the Toronto FC and a game against an
English clud in Edmonton so far.
It may have been raining hard in Montreal yesterday but attendance was high to near capacity at
the Saputo Stadium.

The Rapids have taken their official team photo for 2009, and the team will be selling it at
home games.
Fans will be able to get their hands on the team poster, which features the photo on a
thick-stock poster, starting Saturday.
Members of the Rapids Academy will be selling the team posters at all gates of the stadium at
all games this season at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

kept pressure on them and didn't let them get things rolling.

Fighting Knights de Lynn University en un partido de pretemporada. Brown fue titular y anotó un
gol de penal. El Bombardero junto a su equipo se encuentran en Boca Raton, Florida haciendo

I was feeling optimistic about the Colorado Rapids in 2008. Then in cleaning up some drafts for
blog posts I ran across this quote from Rapids VP Jeff Plush. It was made going into the 2007
season. McDonald was dropped before mother's day if I remember correctly. Vanney was in, looked
like he might have been giving the back line some leadership and then promptly shipped off to DC
United.

A bit ago I mentioned the Colorado Rapids were in the hunt for
ex-Mexican International Daniel Osorno. He was seen at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on the 4th of
July. On July 12th VP Jeff Plush confirmed that the team was in talks to sign him.
Before signing Osorno the Rapids needed to clear up an SI slot.

The rumors has been floating around for awhile now. The Rapids are on the verge of signing
Mexican forward Daniel Osorno. In the middle of June Kansas City was linked with a move for the
player. Last week 3rd Degree reported that FC Dallas was interested in Osorno but he had decided to
sign with Colorado. FC Rocky reported that Osorno was spotted in the press box at Dicks Sporting
Goods Park last 4th of July.
